How involved would one sign-up entry be? Is it like, a solo per entry, or a collab per entry? I'm interested because I was going to roll a die to determine the number of entries I would do, but then I was like, idk if I should commit to a rolled number of entries if one entry is solo- or collab-length.

Thanks for the question Areia. I'll have to give it some thought and get back to you about it, though, as the collab situation might be more complex.

But in my mind, you'd either sign each entry as either a collab or a solo, individually. So you can do five that are all solos, or etc.

I just need to wrap my mind around the possibilities of odd pairings with collabs.

My thought is that if you want a collab, you can bring in anyone to collaborate with you, whether they're signed on or not. However, only those who are signed on for the event are eligible for rewards. Does that make sense? If you can't find someone to collab with, we'll partner people up and act as a matchmaking service.

For the request being made; can it be something that could be used as a weapon, but could also be used as a tool, and even a game? The thing I have in mind is a container that can hold herbs or liquid that will burst open upon contact when thrown. It can be used as a child's toy/game if filled with paint or ink that can be washed off or water (like a water balloon), a tool for a hunter to sedate an animal they need to capture live, a weapon that can put an enemy to sleep/subdue them with an itching/coughing attack without the need to fight them, etc.

Yes you can. Please indicate whether each entry will be solo, collab, or either.

You may, and you can request the specific resource if it's approved before listing the entry. However, the reviewer/moderator/GSTs will decide whether we go with that one. It'll be heavily weighted in favor of your choice, but it should first and foremost make sense to get that reward and on theme for the problem solved.

Hello - an announcement for all concerned in the Event.

1. When we say "please respond" in reference to an IC post, we mean respond IC. The Teq event is an IC event. Teq will have given you a means of contacting him after you've done what he asked you to do. Please respond IC. Standing Trials is a Forum RPG - we should be RPing.
   
   
   
2. You may NOT assume any outcome of an event thread - or ANY thread - until the thread is written and reviewed and the moderator has given you whatever Teq is going to give you. This is true of all our threads and is especially true of rewards given by a moderator.
   
   
   
3. If you don't like the speed of the mod, feel free to not sign up to events and, with the time you save, moderate for someone else. The only way moderation happens is because people give their time.
