Are wells common knowledge? Topic is solved

If a character saw a well would they know what it was? If a character heard the term "well" would they know that wells are used with ensorcelling?

Hey Goku. No if your pc hasn't encountered wells or fractures, they'd be hard-to-come-by knowledge, probably classed as either Uncommon or Rare knowledge. Basically something you might learn about in University in a course on Metaphysics.

Rare knowledge: Low-level techniques, Ether, Sparks, Flaying, etc (at a basic level). Specific knowledge of each discipline. Magic in Emea is a bad idea

Basically magic is rare, and as ensorcelling is closely tied to the magical arts, knowledge of it would similarly not be common.
