Reality was becoming far more convoluted. It was no longer an answer of existing or not, but rather just how much of a sidestep did all of those here take. In this interrogation chamber, there was no true answer that the confused initiate could put their finger on. There was no simple answer. Automatons taking the shape of flesh, a creature that inhabits multiple bodies... Eyes furrowing, it was nearly impossible to digest this all in one night. But, at the very least, an attempt was made for such. Eyes softening as this... Magpie figure, began to explain the nature of the puppets.
Though in all honesty, it just left Sybil with more and more questions that begged answers.
Sybil glanced to the side, towards Kasoria, as the Magpie figure spoke further. It was confusing. All laws and common sense didn't seem to exist here as they knew them. The mindless control of objects, the popping in and popping out of full living beings without any traces... There was something that they just couldn't get their mind to grasp onto. Their brows furrow harder. The thoughts were starting to cause a ceaseless migraine. It was easier to think that there were simply no rules, and that this was a dream. But... That wouldn't be entirely true, now would it?
Something deep inside refused such an answer.
The moment that Sybil began to part their lips, their eyes finally pierced their way towards the Magpie figure's gesture. It felt like an eternity, as they thought they were speaking, but as they looked down the direction, and the bright, coursing sensation of overbearing light began to take them, they were forced awake.
Eyes going wide, Sybil was finally back in their own bed.
There was no movement outside their door, as they leaned upward, body still sweating from the experience. Hand reaching up to their face and dragging down it, they let out a soft groan. It was still early in the morning, too early to be up. But there was a high chance they'd not find the sleep they were looking for if they tried.
So, instead, their legs swung over the bed, feet hitting the cold stone of the floor.
It was gonna be another long day.
