Plot Starter Request Thread

Are you in Rharne (or heading to Rharne) and feeling a bit stuck with your plot? No idea where to take your character next? Unsure how to write your way out of a long absence or kickstart some adventure in your character's life?

We've got your back!

Post here to receive a "Plot Starter" that is customized to your character. Plot Starters are a lot like Starter Quests that new characters receive upon joining Standing Trials. They are meant to be self-modded quest lines or mini adventures that your character can embark on, should they choose to accept it.

Receiving a Plot Starter does not mean you are obligated to take it. You may decide to use it or you may decide it's not right for you - and that's fine too! This is meant to get your creativity going and hopefully create some interesting new plot arcs for yourself and other characters in Rharne.

Please note that each character may request up to two Plot Starters per season. Use the below form to get started!

[Lei'lira]

Mini Character Summary: Lei'lira Warrick is a noble, but she doesn't identify herself as one. Rather, the opposite is true; the thought of being around nobles, and other "fancy" people tends to make her nervous. This is partly because it is a reminder of what she is "supposed" to be, and partly because she has no idea to act around them. Were she to be asked, she would tell you that she was a farmer

Lei'lira is here in Rharne to see her cousin Vivian, and to recover from being held captive for a season. The experience has shattered her in some ways, and she no longer feels safe in her own home. This visit will hopefully see her recovering, and growing stronger than she was before.

Dreams: Lei'lira's greatest dream is to build a horse breeding farm. As her player, I am interested in the Thunder Priestesses. I am considering the possibility of her becoming one in the future; or possibly combining both ideas, and have her become a Thunder Priestess who spends a lot of her time running a breeding farm that provides horses to the Thunder Priestesses and Knights.

Fears: Lei'lira fears men in general due to the way she has been treated by them. She also fears failing/disappointing her family (in this case, Vivian, Teia, and her kids rather than the Warricks). Anything that will kill or permanently maim her is off limits.

Timeframe: Lei'lira will be here from the 26th of Zi'da through Cylus this time. But depending on how things go, there is a good chance of her moving here permanently in the future.

Additional Comments: I would be interested in some moderator input for this thread. Also, this is a great idea! Thanks for coming up with it.

Mini Character Summary: - Rharnian (Dust Quarter) Citizen / Accomplished: Lol. / Dreams: Lol, he's from the Dust, foo! Dreams are for the Glass folk! Kidding of course, but most of it is described below so yeah ^^

Dreams:
IC: Getting answers to the fate of his parents. To know what exactly is going on with them: Kidnapped, enslaved, killed, banished, left on their own accord, etc etc..
OOC: For the above plot to be broken down over a series of mini-plots. The IC-dreams are also basically the reason for his job request, and most of his concept revolves around his job/investigation/parents-plot for the time being.

Fears: IC: He's not really capable in combat, never killed anyone and lived a relatively peaceful life in the Dust Quarter of Rharne. So basically he fears being forced or getting taken out of that 'comfort-zone', he fears that the wrong people in the Dust might pick up or misinterpret his search for answers. Lastly, he fears getting shanked for his shoes, he likes his shoes. OOC: Nothing is off limits.

Timeframe: Not sure how long he's staying in Rharne exactly, but he's not planning to go anywhere outside of Rharne for the time being. Neither am I planning to, OOC'ly.

Additional Comments:I would definitely like Moderator Input about the plot, and even the long-term investigational plot, so feel free to let me know any ideas/input! ^^

Mini Character Summary: Lyn is a warrior of the Thunder Priestesses and a driven one at that. However, she has her own motives for joining, that is vengeance on the Aukari rather than devotion to Ilaren. She has been struggling with this, but hid it from her sisters well enough. Lyn hasn't done much before I went MIA, but her Starter Quest revolves around investigating an anti-Aukari movement developing in Rharne.

Dreams:
IC: What Lyn wants is pretty simple really, which is contributing to the fight against Faldrun. She feels like she hasn't been doing anything to achieve that goal and therefore itching for some action.
OOC: I definitely want her to climb the ranks of the Priestesses and gain a Mark from Ilaren. I also would like to see to grow more in her devotion to Ilaren since right now, she's more preoccupied in her own goals of getting some form of revenge.

Fears:
IC: Lyn certainly has mixed feelings about the Aukari, fearing them yet angry at them at the same time. The fact that she is afraid of them simply made her more determined to prove that was not the case.
OOC: Not that much really, I am open for injuries and maiming to my PC

Timeframe: Currently, Lyn has no travel plans, but I am certainly happy to if Lyn is assigned missions that might require her to leave Rharne!!

Additional Comments: I certainly would like it for Lyn to get missions regarding the Aukari and Faldrun, so she can work on that personal issues And since Lyn is involved in one of the main factions in Rharne, I would definitely love some mod input!!

[Nauta F'mos Geey]

Mini Character Summary: Nauta is a boring science nerd who makes weird shit. As an aukari he also gets a little excited with explosives and stuff (oh wait no, that's me) Pretty much deserted from Sirothelle and hid out in Etzos (which also seems to be the safest place) with an even more boring career as a chef. He's in Rharne to look for booze for his new restaurant and he isn't going back until he has Rharne's best wine because booze immortal can't be wrong about her reccomendations.

Dreams: Nauta wants to make a new non-flammable, non-aukari body for himself but as an alchemist he knows he is going to need a whole lot of money for it. After that just chill and live in comfortably in peace, maybe in a flying ship. I just want more excuses to make a lot of other even weirder stuff like [spoiler alert].

Fears: Fears? Psychopathic immortals and murderous wahoos (I blame plenty of avriels in Etzos for this) Maybe press ganged/coerced into working for someone else which he doesn't want to. I think anything off-limit would be anything which would cripple or kill Nauta. Been there, done that, burned the t-shirt with an excessive amount of gasoline. My floor still has the scorch marks.

Timeframe: Most of this season and the next (when he returns with a supply of booze I hope)

Additional Comments: I'm actually more interested in things more unique to Rharne and better yet if it isn't something entirely obvious so input would be plenty helpful. The aukari event this season seems interesting if it implies some sort of aukari spy network (aukari hate although interesting is probably overdone for me thanks to Etzos, lol) but I'm pretty sure there are a lot of other interesting things about Rharne which can be tapped into.
