The faries had fascinated Jasper and he wanted to learn more about them. In his experience learning more about spirits was best done by doing. Especially since these Faries appeared to be a newer spirit that had suddenly emerged in the recent arcs. He had heard about a place called Fairy Ring, which actually was much older then the sudden appearance of Fairies, but the Aesir was well aware of symbology. He had talked with Bryil and his younger brother had agreed to go with him into the depths of the forest to see this Fair Ring.
The two had packed lightly and taken the couple trial trip northward. As the Sun was beginning to approach the horizon Jasper and his brother guessed they were almost at the Fairy Ring. Both young men had passed Fairies on their way north. The river they had used as there main path seemed to always have one skipping along the top of the surface. Jasper had a found smile on his lips, and felt the presences of all of these spirits. He could also sense the Induk itself here in the forest, not close but it was here. It felt almost like home. Many considered the woods around his home dark and mysterious, but those people were wrong, it could be dangerous but for the Aesir raised at its edges it was a place of wonder.
This place both made his home sick and brought joy to his soul. Jasper walked through the brush next to the river breathing in the smells and watching as the Fairies darted away from him. This far from the settlement these Faries hadn’t meet him. So while curious they kept some distance.
Bryil stopped suddenly and Jasper paused to. His brother looked back and said. “I think we are very close to the Fairy Ring but someone is camping up ahead.” Jasper nodded and the two after another look approached the camp making noise as they went. After a moment Jasper called out. “Hello.”
