Sometimes, people ask me why I date a nobleman like Peake Andaris. Many times, people hear rumors about my fiance, about his brutality, alcoholism and debauchery. To those people I laugh because, honestly, you must be a sheep to believe the peasant's lies.

The truth is, my future husband is none of those things. I, of all people, have seen him truly, cracked the armor that protects his heart and dived deep in the veins of this amazing man. What I found was a pure heart, believe it or not. An innocence unseen in this world, tainted by rage and the mud peasants like yourself throw at him. There, I lost myself, eager to consume him from within, hoping to absorb some of that heroism and raw beauty into myself. I became addicted, a simple girl from the ports lost in the ocean of love Peake Andaris' heart possessed. I spent my nights longing for his touch, yearning for his lips, and begging for his hands.

I wanted him to let me in.

Now, as I sit here, speaking to the cliffs and the ocean, hoping that the waves would drag away my lust for such a specimen, I can only sigh as I imagine it again...

Have you ever seen something cool and went 'Oh I can do that!'.

Fucking don't.

Yep. Just give up. Look at this template. You think this is cool? This is the most pretentious thing I've ever done in my entire life, to the point of anal warts just popping into my eyes as I look at it. I found a cool image, and went 'Hey, I can do something with it!' and here I am, writing this shit cause the template ended up looking horrible.

What I wanted to do was obvious: I wanted to put something like a monster behind Peake so that it represented his temper problems (aka he's a berserker yo) so I found that comic picture. I combined them and all but along came a problem: I didn't know how to match the two color scales or whatever that's called of the images. So I ended up playing with filters and this ended up happening.

Am I happy? No.

Am I gonna use it? Fuck yeah. I spent 30 minutes on this shit, so I'll rub it on your faces just to annoy you with my lack of talent. Got a problem?

Grow a beard and face me, peasant.

This right here is my progress. Ever since I downloaded PS, I've made great progress in this template business. Now, don't get me wrong - I'm still shit compared to other PS masters in this site. But...


Go to the top of this page and see the first template I made. That's my first template in ST. All I did on it was

1) Pick an image
2) Resize it
3) Apply an effect in pixlr/express
4) Put it into a shitty code.

However, as you can see, I'm trying to improve. This right here, along with Syhera's template from above, are what I consider my best works so far. There's actual fucking layers in there, alright? THREE OF THEM. As of size, its pretty big (especially in height) but I couldn't manage to do that delete thing Alistair does, which in here would've helped a great deal.

XXX - SEASON - ARC

It's been a while since I've done one of these for Peake. He was retired for a while, of course, so I had no reason to, but I've been trying to make one nonetheless. I never landed on any images of his model I could work with. Seems I've been ignoring a few good ones out there. Plus, all of you always complained about how I had 'blurred' the ear of Peake in the template above. That came in like that, FYI. Still, it did get to bother me a bit, and since that ear is supposed to be missing cause of the Zvezfiend, it was time for a change.

Nothing special about this template. Just Peake, some snow, and a 'Peak' in the distance. Gotta be cheesy in this life, y'all. Lots of protein there. Making a template and seeing the effort paying off is a very calming activity. It took me an hour and a half to make this, but time flied and I had a blast. I was also going to include Syhera as a shadow in the back, but her player was asking too many questions. I hope she's reading this and she cringes, because it's her loss. SUCK IT, MARIA!


Not much more to say. I hope it's a tolerable template. I also made sure to make it wider than the previous one, mostly because I was sick of it cutting my sentences into a hundred new lines. Fuck that shit, bruv. For anyone looking to get into this template business, I'll tell you it's a good investment of your time. The hardest part of it all is getting started. If you're interested, you'll look for whatever you want to do, and you'll find a hundred different ways of doing it.

I mean, look at my work. I used to suck, and now I suck still but with greater degrees of delusions. If you feel good, then that's all that matters.
