With a bit of cleaning up Lucas would make for a good looking young man but most of the time he is messy and now he has little chance to change it. Perhaps in the future he may find someone able to show him what it means to be a gentleman and he will keep himself on the tidier side.

Personality
Once a broken man Lucas has been struggling to reinvent himself, fighting to escape his past and the darkness that consumed him during that time. He was once merciless and without a moral compass, doing what he believed he had too but now he is a changed man. Lucas has found religion and strength he did not previously have, strength to do good in the world and to fight against the corruption he once helped to spread.
He does not pretend to forget what he was or lie about his past but instead works to change his image for the future. He fights a lot but now for good and while he wishes he could find more peaceful solutions a place like prison is not where you work that out. So he continues to fight but for the weaker and those who have found themselves there from bad circumstance like himself.
Lucas has become a strong willed, faithful and loyal man. Finding a new path to follow that will help him repent and fix the world he had once contributed to the destruction of. He has found a true calling, guided by good intention and true hope. He is passionate and concentrated, when he sets his mind to something he succeeds with it. There is no doubting that with the right guidance he Lucas could be something great.
Some might argue he is bordering on problems with alcohol abuse but he is managing to handle himself still and work it into his religious beliefs. Whether it is healthy for him to excuse his boozing with faith is certainly up to debate.
History
Lucas has a troubled past, one full of loss and misfortune. Coming from a broken home the youngster had quickly found ways to remain out of his single mother's hair. She swore that his father had been a Lightning Knight and that his duty had stopped him being able to remain with the family. There was only one time when Lucas met his Father and it was short and he did not even know it was who he met.
Lucas was 5 at the time when his father returned for a little under a year within which time his mother had a baby. Never did he get to see the child and almost as soon as it had entered the world it was gone. His mother and father took the baby away and only his mother returned without it. It was perhaps best he did not know it had been his father. Never again did the man return.
Still being left alone had caused his mother to move to a less desirable job. While she tried to keep it from him and shield him from the disturbing truth she failed. Even at the age of 8 he knew what went on behind those closed doors. The strange men, the loud screams and cries, he couldn't drown them out no matter how he tried. Alas he was forced to leave the house during these times, unable to hear it any longer he took to the streets.
Here is where he was picked up by those who would set his life down a dark path, one filled with gruesome mistakes and life altering actions. A gang by the name “Libaina" picked him up and began to employ him. At his young age he was only useful for hiding and running drugs across the city of Rharne. However as he grew they began to give him different jobs.
At first they were simple things, keep this package safe for us, find this man or woman for us but they began to escalate. Quickly they became more dangerous and violent, collect this money from this man and even going as far as to simply tell him to burn down an opposing gang leader's house. Lucas quickly became deeply entrenched in the gang and found himself stuck.
There was no escaping the violence and danger of that world. It was when it began to follow him home that it went really wrong. The newly ranked enforcer had just beaten up on a group of owing customers when some of their friends followed him home. Little did he know that the customers had actually been members of one of Libaina’s opposing gangs. He had barely gotten his boots off as they broke down the door. Five of them piled in and beat him within an inch of his life but when they found his mother he was too weak and hurt to help her.
That night would haunt Lucas for the rest of his life. As the memories of what he saw and his mother's blood pooled before him as he lay helplessly would never leave his dreams. He was found by some old friends, lower downs in the gang who helped him to recover but his mother. His mother was gone now, like her father she had gone and he was alone. He was consumed by fury at this point, rage at the leader of Libaina and that rage quickly became physical.
Lucas went to the house of his gang leader, knife hidden in his sleeve as he killed the man. The moment he opened the door the knife was plunged without mercy into his stomach 10 times. All Lucas said was: “You should have told me who they were.”
Following this event he went to the guards and turned himself in, admitting to the murder of the gang leader and the other crimes he had committed. He allowed them to arrest him and so began his time in prison. His conscience riddled with guilt as he searched for an end to his suffering.
Here he managed to start to turn himself around finding solace in alcohol smuggled into the prison. He had been a drinker before but now he had found new comfort that had not been there before in drunkenness. It put him at peace and kept him sane.
It helped him to forget the pain and instead focus on the idea of his father, a lightning knight fighting for good. Lucas had no idea if this was even true but he convinced himself it was. He became obsessed with it in the prison and even began to take on a quasy version of the role, protecting those around him. The weaker inmates and those in a similar place to himself. Those who had killed for a good reason in his mind.
Brawling became common place for him and he often found himself locked in solitary confinement. Shut away from the rest of the prisoners to stop his fighting, even if he was fighting to help another. It was a confused morality, protecting criminals from criminals, but it helped him to keep the memories at bay.
He has been there for 5 arcs now, locked away and awaiting his death. For reasons he is unsure of his execution has been put on hold perhaps for deeper investigation into his circumstances or the truth of his story. Either way he is stuck where he is trying to do right while he still has the chance.
Housing
Lucas is currently in prison and living in a small single bunk cell with a small wash basin an old mirror and a table.
Knowledge & Skills
Oracle and I discussed Lucas's situation and as he will be starting in prison with no belongings and be partaking in forced labour we came to the conclusion that the slave starter pack would be best, therefore there are bonuses to skills provided by this and I just wanted to let you (reviewer) know why that pack was chosen.
