Weather

Ymiden
Date Weather Notes
1-12
Ymiden starts off with vividly warm temperatures and clear skies for the season, humidity moves in from across Lake Rea to add to this.
13-21
Increasing humidity makes the temperature rise quickly as it feels hot and muggy, light and airy clothes make it easier to grin and bear as clouds begin to roll in towards the end of this period.
22-34
The heat remains but the humidity levels are quite staggering now, signs of a heavy rain are prominent during this period of the season. Lots of sweaty people in bustling places or out in the open when exposed to this humidity.
35-43
ϟ
Finally the humidity pressure alleviates with some much needed rain, some people are even celebrating by dancing out in the downcast. Throughout this period a lot of the downcast is associated with loud thunderstorms, the Faithful decree this a sign that Illaren is watching them from afar.
44-58
The torrential clouds immediately part to reveal the sun yet again, skies are only partly cloudy as humidity levels slowly rise once more. Temperatures are quite warm but more enjoyable now that that first deluge has passed.
59-67
More rains move in to cool off the city and region, showers are scattered throughout the later parts of this period. People can expect to stay warm even with the moisture of the rains lingering for a few more Trials.
68-74
The rains move on eastward as a warm front comes through, inducing cloud cover that provides favorable shade most trials. Ne'haer in general enjoys the cooler aspect of this weather as it's only a matter of time before Saun closes in.
75-83
The sun returns with a vengeance as the warm front increases, as Ymiden draws to a close the temperatures become hot throughout the region. Shade is crucial to endure this weather as the heat serves as indication that Saun 718 is going to be a hot one.
Saun
Date Weather Notes
1-6
The heat is dramatically on the rise as the eternal day starts. People are advised to reduce their time in the open sunlight, or at least have access to water if they're required to endure prolonged exposure.
7-18
The humidity left behind from Ymiden proves unrelenting which is a mixed blessing, cloud cover is mixed with light showers that are very few and scattered in between trials. The heat of Saun naturally continues to bear down on the city, making both temperature and humidity create a 'sticky' atmosphere.
19-26
The cloud cover becomes minimal as much of the humidity dissipates, leading up to a dry spell during this part of the season. Crops are heavily at risk of over-exposure to the suns, and heatstroke becomes a common issue to the unprepared.
27-31
ϟ
Clouds roll in but only in sparse bouts with harsh lightning storms, providing minor cover over the city but also threatening people with brash lightning strikes. The Faithful declare this another sign that Ilaren still watches, while scholars speculate it's the dry spell that's created this phenomenon.
32-40
Saun's final trials are filled with constant sunlight as the temperatures remain hardly bearable, many are ready for the constant day to end at this point while the season and cycle are both drawing to a close.

Astrological Events

Ymiden
DateEventNotes
11New MoonOne the night of the new moon several of Treth's goats are born with two heads; farmers cannot explain what this phenomenon entails.
32Meteor ShowerThe territories witness another array of meteors soaring through the sky, a few of them fall somewhere into the Willow Woods.
63Crescent MoonThroughout the region all who sleep this trial have no dreams at all, The Faithful declare this the work of the Kaelik but others speculate differently.
80Xiur's PatternCertain constellations within the night sky are more prominent on this night, the Faithful quickly discern this as a sure tell sign of hope from their Immortal Xiur.
Saun
DateEventNotes
20Something in the WaterAs the suns bear down on the region relentlessly, only on this trial does something significant occur. All the wells, lakes, and drinking water turn a vibrant pink coloration. Everyone who drinks it claims the water tastes much sweeter than usual, though not even The Faith can declare what this strange phenomenon is.

Ymiden

DateLocationEventsDetails
1Ne'haerThe CoalitionThe Council is forced to convene with The Faithful on behalf of Ne'haer, resulting in a very overwhelming announcement
2RegionalUnusual PhenomenonAll throughout the region reports are circulating of the most curious things, personal belongings are either 'misplaced' from where they were originally left or generally missing altogether. There is also reports that some individuals are luckier than usual, finding spare nel in places they didn't expect before also.
4TrethThe CoalitionIn response to Ne'haer's announcement, Treth openly volunteers to support the city; however some of the farmer's seem uneasy about it.
8Ne'haerA City Wide PetitionMany of the residents begin setting up a petition for a landmark to be built near the city, a bridge to help shorten travel times towards settlements beyond the river.
15CycresHit and RunThe city of Cycres yet again suffers another attack from bandits and maruaders, word is that even some of the residents have been taken as hostages; likely to be put into slavery or worse.
17Ne'haerA Curious ReporterJust after the attack on Cycres an enraged woman is plastering "Wanted" posters all throughout the city. Word is she knows people in Cycres that'd support The Coalition, but requires assistance before she can promise such a thing.
20YurrovaA Weighty DecisionMuch to The Council's surprise, Yurrova seems inclined to agree to The Coalition; however they propose their own terms before accepting anything. Many Yurrovan's seem displeased but due to recent events, prove willing to give Ne'haer a second chance.
22The CoastlineThe Ghost ShipA very eerie ship is seen sailing the waters of Lake Rea and Merodi Bay at night, nobody knows what it is or why it appears. The Faithful speculate it as a reminder against Bayward's alliance with Augiery, and how Ne'haer shouldn't forget the pirate invasion that took place not too long ago.
24IronridgeThe CoalitionThe city of Ironridge has, naturally, declined and declared The Coalition Ne'haer is trying to propose. They continue to increase military power, and call upon Lysoria to unite with them and their conquest. Lysoria however seems hesitant.
28Ne'haerLegend Among ChildrenMany children within Ne'haer are declaring that they are seeing a race of tiny creatures, though none of these claims are proven as they remain elusive. The Faithful decree these things mere fantasies and The Council, somehow, rationalizes it as either 'a kid's game' or perhaps imagination.
32LysoriaThe Court IntrigueThe Mages Court and The Circle of Mages are both disputing over Lysoria's leadership, tension is on the rise as House Amielle's claim remains challenged.
44HyranImpartial BehaviorWhile Ne'haer has softly been prodding Hyran to join The Coalition, Ironridge is threatening to send forces to conquer them. Hyran continues to remain impartial but finds the decision strained, a call for a messenger is requested by House Marthel.
48BaywardThe CoalitionBayward's leadership finally makes its stance on The Coalition clear, though a small number of disagreements have taken place in the city. Rumor spreads that the Council's own agents are being hunted there, thus Ne'haer's attempt at peace seems to slowly falter.
52Ne'haerThe Faith Take ActionNe'haer's very own Faithful decree that The Coalition is doomed for failure, therefore they take measures to ensure the people's safety. The Council doesn't seem to react as many expect them to, however it would seem Ne'haer's politics continue to feel strained.
56MillstoneThe ElectionHouses within Millstone vie for the electoral leadership which determines the city's stance, depending on who is elected into power; Millstone may either accept or deny the terms of The Coalition.
64The Willow WoodsNature's Scorn?A few traveler's have reported that several spots in the Willow Woods seem 'active' somehow; acorns were coincidentally hitting their heads numerous times, as though something in that part of the forest was keeping them out.
68Ne'haerThe TemplarsThe Faithful not only bring foreigners from Hiladreth but also provide them with hospitable shelter, thus instating the first of what's to be the Order of Templars within Ne'haer.
76LysoriaReaction to the TemplarsThe Circle of Mages prove very offended with The Faith's actions as several more mages flee to Lysoria, The Coalition proves threatened no matter who reign's over the city.
80MillstoneWandering StorytellerThe same Storyteller from Ne'haer makes another appearance in Millstone, swaying the nobles into a sense of delight with his stories and legends. Quite quickly he finds himself richer and word of his deeds spread faster throughout the region.
83Ne'haerThe CoalitionAs Ymiden draws to a close both The Council and The Faithful announce their prowess, each one making it clear that they're both not going to rest until peace is established between throughout the territories.

Saun

DateLocationEventsDetails
1Ne'haerThe CoalitionAfter both Council and Faithful's dispute, both continue to work towards a better idea of peace for Ne'haer.
3Ne'haerNegotiations With EtzosThe Council's plan is finally put to act as they send out a number of ships, a couple impressive in size, out into Lake Rea. Rumor is negotiations have been made between The Council and Etzos for profitable trade, The Faithful however remain quiet in their displeasure.
8YurrovaAn Abandoned MineThe miners of Yurrova have discovered deep within their mines, an abandoned mine shaft that burrows deeper into the earth. Just how deep it goes but almost immediately upon discovery, a lingering sense of danger has kept even the bravest miners from lurking within.
12LysoriaThe CircleThe number of mages in Lysoria grows slowly as the Circle seek to garner their numbers, all to provide a place of sanctuary for those being persecuted by templars. The people of Lysoria however grow irate with the number of mages brought in one place.
18TrethThe TemplarsSeveral templars from the Order discover a mage has lived in secret in Treth, the community watches in fear and awe as they apprehend the farmer in question.
25IronridgeWatchguard PostsIn light of Ironridge's advances towards war, watchtowers are being constructed in various locations surrounding the city. Yurrova watches diligently as they wait for Ne'haer to send in reinforcements.
33Ne'haerNegotiations With EtzosWord reaches Ne'haer that Rhakros has attempted intervention of the trade, resulting in one of the galleons being sunk and the other seriously damage. However it and the other ships sent seemed to have cleared the danger zone, and the Council secretly celebrates a carefully designed plan with success.
34MillstoneUnusual PhenomenonBetween Yurrova and Millstone is a strange ruin that still displays unusual activity, Yurrova sends confirmation that the sight is 'haunted' and dangerous. Many in Millstone are either fearful or intrigued by whatever this sight is.
38BaywardA Royal BrawlBayward's denizens seem to incite an all out brawl within the streets, word is that Dragoon has fallen ill and many of his crew members are struggling to keep the rest in line.
40Ne'haerThe Order of TemplarsMore reinforcements from Hiladreth arrive as The Faithful officially instate The Order of Templars, making them a legitimate force of security throughout Ne'haer's temples as well as Ne'haer's streets. The Council is furious with this to be sure, but uses it to their advantage in the trials to come. As The Hot Cycle comes to an end with Saun's final trial, the next Cycle already looks to be a difficult one to come for Ne'haer.

Territory Relations

Ne'haer

Image
Wealth: Improving - With trade negotiations being made with Etzos, Ne'haer has the promise of further improving stability as well as the economy. As the season progresses things look more promising on the business side for the city, enough to where the Council discusses actual developments for the city that have been long delayed.
Military: Spread Thin - Much of the Blades still remain spread thin as recruit numbers have been dismal lately, the resources at the Council's disposal are far too limited to continue watch in some of the surrounding territories. A possible call for more recruits is rumored to be underway, but from where remains a bigger mystery.
Allies: Treth, Millstone
Enemies: Bayward, Lysoria, Ironridge
Conflicts: Ne'haer is on the verge of instating The Coalition, an act that's meant to instill peace and prosperity between the territories. Naturally they are obliged to either accept or refuse the terms, which only means yet another power struggle in choosing sides for the territories. At the same time The Faithful are inclined to act out against The Coalition, and take matters into their own hands in regards to the people of Ne'haer and their safety.

Ironridge

Image
Wealth: Stunted - After the decline of it's wealth Ironridge has found it's own economy stunted, and taxes have been slightly raised to try and bolster an economic recovery. As they struggle to seek new allies they must look to beyond the borders north of their stronghold, if they wish to find aid in their conquest against Ne'haer.
Military: Strong - Many of the soldiers and recruits for Ironridge at this point have undergone rigorous training, many within the ranks are eager to lay waste to those that stand in their way. Ne'haer would be at major risk if not for the vast amounts of land between it and Ironridge.
Allies: Lysoria, Hyran
Enemies: Ne'haer, Yurrova
Conflicts: Just as taxes are being increased to attempt economic recovery, Ironridge immediately declines what The Coalition offers. It's denizens are far to set in mind to deter from war, but their resources are far too limited to proceed with the advance. Immediately they look to Lysoria for support, but fight little word is sent back due to the political infighting there.

Lysoria

Image
Wealth: Wealthy - Naturally Lysoria continues to sit on a mountain of nel because of it's affiliations and location, enough to where the merchants are finding their businesses thriving to be sure. The economy will appear to continuously thrive at this rate, as they offer negotiable terms of trade with Hyran this season as well.
Military: Average - The military of Lysoria still remains modest at best with a number of mages at their disposal, the Circle of Mages have decreed their role supportive at best. Few dare challenge the might of Lysoria's mages of course, as their numbers are slowly building thanks to the influence of The Circle.
Allies: Ironridge, Hyran
Enemies: Ne'haer, Cycres
Conflicts: After last season's stunt with being blacklisted Lysoria remains a adversary to many Ne'haeran's, the promise of peace to them seems unjust since they murdered a number of their people last season. This creates more backlash and tension between Ne'haer and Lysoria, as The Circle confirms that they would rather defy Ne'haer and their welcomed 'mage hunters' from Hiladreth.

Yurrova

Image
Wealth: Stunted - After riots had broke out and a few private supply ships have reached them, Yurrova is on the verge of recovering from famine as Ne'haer slowly rekindles the partnership between them. Yurrova still has plenty of gems and resources to trade with the other settlements, but the economy is still a long ways from truly recovering after so much loss.
Military: Borrowed - The Blades are still in occupation here but not in full force as they should be, word reaches Yurrova that more reinforcements may come; however the city doesn't hold it's breath as this is merely a sign of deja vu.
Allies: Ne'haer, Millstone
Enemies: Ironridge
Conflicts: Starvation is less of a dilemma but still prevalent among many of the citizens, The Coalition offers more than just peace but many of the citizens already deem it pointless to trust Ne'haer. Regardless of where the people stand in their beliefs however, Yurrova's leadership determines this as the only way for Yurrovan's to survive, and eventually, thrive before too long.

Hyran

Image
Wealth: Promising - While stable at best Hyran is receiving a few trade offers this season, from Lysoria as well as Ne'haer in fact. The economy looks to improve from these negotiations, as House Marthel continues to maintain neutrality with these two during The Coalition.
Military: Well Armed - Hyran has maintain a military force for many Arcs now, even after signing Ne’haer’s peace treaty. The town takes pride in ensuring each citizens spend at least one arc in military service before going out into the world. Due to this, Hyran always has a well armed and prepared military on standby, should anything go astray.
Allies: Ne'haer, Millstone, Lysoria
Enemies: Cycres
Conflicts: The bandit problems continue to worsen with Cycres this season, and on top of that Ironridge demands allegiance from Hyran. It has come time to determine whether Hyran will accept the terms of The Coalition, or align with Ironridge and Lysoria in the seasons to come.

Bayward

Image
Wealth: Wealthy - The black market is a profitable business and ever thriving within the borders of Bayward. Most of their gold is either stolen or made off of traded stolen goods and slaves. The town of Bayward also sees its fair share of mercenaries looking for under-the-table business deals and contracts. As long as there’s illegal money to be had, Bayward will almost always profit.
Military: Well Armed - Bayward is occupied by a large pirate crew, though they rarely expect any rules to be followed except the ones they make, they follow harsh law when it comes to ‘The Code’ being broken.
Allies: None
Enemies: Everyone
Conflicts: Just as Dragoon is having to resupply his crew with ships, his health deters and therefore diminishes his influence a little. Bayward becomes a more rebellious and chaotic locale, as private agents of Ne'haer are forced to evacuate from the unraveling order there.

Cycres

Image
Wealth: Poor - Due to the consistent bandit activity in and around the area, stability is low and the populace is poor. This lack of stability impacts the economy and leads to a variety of further problems and poor health.
Military: Poor - The instability in the area impacts the military presence significantly. Those citizens who work as militia often do so in order to provide for themselves and / or their family and corruption is higher than in any other area. Resources are low and therefore, Cycres is insecure and poorly defended. This, of course, makes it easy pickings for the bandit and thus, the cycle of poverty continues.
Allies:
Enemies: Lysoria, Hyran and Treth
Conflicts: Cycres is to the point of being fed up with it's isolation, even with The Coalition they still seem apprehensive with trust towards the other territories. Word is the mayor/representative there is making deals with unknown sources, though what these deals are remain a bigger mystery.

Millstone

Image
Wealth: Thriving - Millstone is made up of several Noble families who contribute to the care and refinement of the town. It is well secured, well guarded, and beautifully crafted with a number of shops and locations for trading purposes. Millstone sits on the Anari River, which helps trade vessels go to in from as they please. Millstone attempts to stay neutral from other territories in the region and handles most of its trade beyond the borders of the West.
Military: Average - Each family residing in Millstone is requested to offer up a small portion of their family’s military for the safety of the town. Such forces are gathered under Millstone’s banner instead of their separate houses, and are treated with the utmost respect. They are well equipped with durable items and sharpened swords, making Millstone a particularly difficult place to overrun.
Allies: Ne'haer, Treth, Yurrova, Hyran
Enemies:
Conflicts: The election for a new noble family is held this season, until one such noble house is in power; Millstone cannot accept or refuse The Coalition sent by Ne'haer.

Treth

Image
Wealth: Thriving - Treth generates nel by the grains, meats, herbs, vegetables, and other food items it exports to Ne’haer. Farmers are given fair wage by the city in return for the bundles of food they produce. Ne’haer is even more lenient on supplying Treth and other farmers with loans if the nel helps expand their overall crop production. Thus, the small village of Treth is thriving and while there aren’t too many shops to be found here, there are rarely any poor or homeless villagers to be found here.
Military: Average / Borrowed - Treth is a small village that doesn’t have its own military, therefore, it must be provided to them from Ne’haer. Being one of the city’s main food hubs, Ne’haer sends Treth a surplus of guardsmen to ensure Bandits from Cycres and Pirates from Bayward do not stumble into the village and wreak havoc on the citizens there.
Allies: Ne'haer, Millstone
Enemies: Bayward, Cycres
Conflicts: Treth experiences a few food shortages as Ne'haer's demand seems to increase yet again, farmers will have to stretch their rations out to avoid chances of starvation. Many are a little upset over these demands the big city brings, but Ne'haer makes more promises that it may struggle to keep.

For those living in the region, wine is an important part of daily life and culture, representing the success and profits of each individual city. On this day, the drinking of alcohols of all kinds are encouraged, and vintners sell their brews by the barrel at market. Cheeses and fruits are also found in abundance, generally carefully paired to the wines that complement their favours. Celebrations continue late into the night, growing louder and more ridiculous the later it gets.
ImageChampion's Tournament1st Trial of SaunThe Champion's Tournament is hosted by the Blades of Zafra in Ne'haer. In a field outside the city of Ne'haer, which has crudely constructed wooden seating, anyone may enter the tournament. There are three components: archery, sword fighting, and horse racing. Anyone may enter however many games they choose, but to be considered for the grand prize, you must enter all three. It is a grand day of fighting, drinking, and Ne'haerian patriotism - though anyone from any territory may enter.
