So is there any guide anywhere about which buildings are in which part of the city? As far as I can tell it doesn't say in their link descriptions, or at least not for all of them. I know obviously the castle, monastery, etc. are in the third tier, but I'm a little confused about the rest. In the city lore link (under Andaris), it says loosely that first tier is businesses and (defensive) military, second tier is housing and the university.
But in the housing link, it sort of contradicts that: midtown is housing, yes, but it is more pricey housing and is home to most of the city's warriors, the marketplace, and many of the city's businesses. Lowtown is pretty much just the barracks, stables, and slums, so the poor
--and nonresidents-- probably live in there. I'm assuming that the housing link is the correct one, because it served as an update.
So if you could clear it up, are most businesses in lowtown or midtown? What about the hotels (probably in lowtown)?
If there's not already a directory, then I'll put a list below (the first list is by assumed area/district, the second is alphabetical). The ones that are bolded, italicized, and *'d are the ones whose locations I know for certain (either because it said in their write-ups or is very obvious, like the Docks being outside the city). Everything else is guesswork and those that aren't colored are completely uncertain to me. I'd like if we could verify everything's locations so I know where stuff is.
