Borisnovich Winery Estate

The Borisnovich family, a newcomer in the wine industry of Rharne. In just less than eight arcs they have begun rising up to the level of some of the household names in the industry, namely the Farrow Plantation and the Rosmerta Winery. Their rise to fame was in a part because of being the only place in Rharne where the black apple orchards could be found in which it is used as the main ingredient in producing their specialty Midnight wine. But their rise to power in such a short period was not only because of their specialty wine but rather it’s all thanks to their infamous Whisper Dust drug, a closely guarded secret known only to the family and the Shadow Quarter of Rharne.

The estate isn’t typically open to the general public. Their wine could be bought from the various taverns located within Rharne. But because their wine processing time took longer than the average, their products tend to be available on a seasonal basis.

The winery estate is a one hundred acre walled family-run property. It is located about half a trial’s ride from Rharne and about four breaks distance from Mistral Village. The winery estate consists of several complexes.

There’s the main house, which is a spacious combination of glass, brick, and stone structures. Highlighting the beauty of Rharne’s stained glass architectural designs. It is also inspired by architectural designs from Abraham’s travels. The main house consists of the family’s living quarters, library, an underground wine cellar, etc.

The majority of the acreage is dedicated to the orchards, farming complex, distilleries, storages, and their special laboratory of sort for processing the Whisper Dust. They also have a small housing complex for all their subordinates.

An elusive, complex, honorable, and ‘honest’ man who does his own thing. Honest in a sense not being a saint but honest in a sense that he will do as he says he would. He is also honorable in a way that he will always honor an agreement unless for some reason the party he has an agreement with should depart Idalos, whether by natural means or by other means. After spending the majority of his life traveling around Idalos and perfecting the Whisper Dust, he decided to come back to his roots, Rharne. The man whose approach to life and cooking feels like a homage to a forgotten place and time. Celebrating the bounty of what nature can give. Respected and feared by the people working for and with him. He always strives to be the best and will do anything in his power to achieve it.

A very outgoing person, since the responsibility of being the firstborn, is not his. He is resourceful and experimental, having his nephews or basically anyone near him try on his latest drink, those not quick enough to avoid him. His view on life is “Be serious about what you do, but don’t take yourself too seriously.”

Hey Nathan. Mostly happy with this entry. But a few points that might need clarification or elaboration in this write-up:

• You note Abraham as being an honest man, yet he's involved in the drug trade and a soldier for the Shadow Quarter. While it's entirely possible that he is honorable for a criminal and keeps his word about things within that walk of life, he probably wouldn't be (as a soldier of the Shadow Quarter) someone who's honest to a fault. Could you just elaborate a bit on how his honesty presents?
• Whisper Dust isn't an existing Drug that I'm aware of. Can you either link to the drug in the forum, or else do a write-up of the narcotic here? Thanks.
• Midnight Wine: Also another drug/beverage that hasn't been developed as far as I've seen. Either link to where it exists in the forum, or write-up the wine.

The Midnight wine appears as a dark black color liquid. The wine uses the black apple as the main ingredient along with other various ingredients from plants and other by-products of chemical reactions. The wine itself is housed in a black bottle with no labeling or whatsoever on the outside. The only way to differentiate the real Midnight wine from the fake ones is that the real Midnight wine would have its date of storage and the Borisnovich family’s seal etched on the bottom of the cork (the part inside the bottle). Which its authenticity could be cross-checked at the Borisnovich’s winery estate. The wine has a rich and flavorful sweetness to it. The wine is not quite potent and is meant to be consumed by a wider range of age groups. It pairs well with most of the cuisines. The best time to enjoy it is at the end of the day shared amongst friends and family, due to it being not that potent, it would take several bottles before the alcohol began to take effect. The wine is also not very common since their production time took longer than making the average wine.

Information: The Whisper Dust is a drug native to Rharne. It is produced by the Borisnovich family and distributed via the Shadow Quarter network. It appears as a white-colored powder (similar to salt). It is crafted from the mixtures of compounds made from various plants. The chemical concentration is then added to it, after the cooking process is done the paste-like drug would be left out to cool. After cooling it down, it will be broken and ground until it becomes powder. The best way to use it is either by inhaling it through the nose or by mouth.
Side effects / complications / weaknesses: Side effects vary, but the common effects that could be experienced; Heart rate rapidly increases during initial exposure before and would gradually return to normal. In case of impurities or alterations done to the initial recipe, there’s a chance that the heart rate and blood pressure plummet down after the increase during the initial exposure which would cause organ complications and worst, death. A variety of hallucinations will be experienced, the most commonly reported is hearing whispers, hence the name Whisper Dust. In large dosage could cause hallucinations that could last for breaks to trials at the longest.

Okay, looking good.

One other thing, I forgot to mention that Drugs and poisons are within the remit of the Medicine skill. So your guy who made whisper dust would need to be an expert in medicine in order to craft it. Will also require medicine to be listed as one of the needed skills in order to craft Whisper Dust.

Also, a slight typo on the Whisper Dust:
