The Hot Cycle

I'd like to welcome everyone to the Hot Cycle of 718. As some of you may have figured out, we are trying something new. Instead of doing a single season for 2 months at a time, we are now doing a full Cycle over the course of four months. Hopefully this will give everyone a little more wiggle room for completing your threads. Since we are now progressing into both Ymiden and Saun I have released the Calendar for both of them. Make sure to contact me for details if you wish to partake in one of the Open events so I can fill you in on what you will need to know.

I have also posted the Hot Cycle Roster . Please register there if you intend on playing in Rharne this Cycle.

We will have two seasonal events, one in Ymiden and one in Saun. The first one in Ymiden I will be posting sign ups for in a week or two.

I hope you all have a great time during these next two seasons. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, concerns or ideas that you would like to share.

Oooo that looks like fun Oracle! I'll probably watch that thread from afar... since I'm off on a far island to the east. >.>

Since I'm poking here though I thought I'd just say that Patrick, and I, miss Rharne oh so very much of course; therefore I'm going to be doing a series of memory threads for those who want to join in! A good vast majority of them will be his bartending career while I improve on his mixology skill of course, but just about anything can happen back in them good ol' days. First open memory thread is posted here if anybody is interested!

The Bounty Board has been updated to include the following bounties.

Wanted Alive: Vincent Comb
Crime: Vincent has been sighted near Rosmerta Winery stealing casks of Starlight Wine along with a few new varieties that the Rosmerta sisters have been working on. Vincent is a lean young but scraggly man with straw colored hair and green eyes. He is known to be fairly good with a knife and should be handled with caution.
Reward: 200gn / 350gn if you can also recover the stolen merchandise.
Expires: Ongoing
Moderation: Self-moderated.

Wanted Alive: Sally Hauldry
Crime: A local resident of Mistral Village, Sally has been seen stealing local pets that she is hoarding in her cottage. People are becoming concerned for their animals and for the health of Ms. Hauldry. There are now at least fifteen dogs, cats and goats living on her property that need to be returned to their owners. Sally is a woman of at least forty arcs of age with graying brown curly hair that she wears in a bun. She has gray blue eyes and a pump figure. This woman is not necessarily considered dangerous but she is addled and can react poorly if forced to separate with the animals she has stolen.
Reward: 200gn

Wanted Alive: Dustin Meddles
Crime: Dustin has been accused of stealing horses from a local farm in the Stormlands about two breaks ride from Rharne. He is allegedly keeping several equines in a camp near the river. Some rumors suggest that he intends to head for the coast as soon as possible to sell them. Time is of the essence. Dustin is a middle aged man with long brown hair that he normally keeps tied back at the nape of his neck and dark brown eyes. He has a scar on his left wrist in the shape of an X.
Reward: 180gn / 250gn if all animals are found and returned.

Wanted Alive: Karen Sampson
Crime: This drunkard has been seen attacking fellow patrons at the Harlot ‘n’ Hound Tavern in the Earth Quarter. She is a stout older woman who is at least fifty arcs of with salt and pepper hair and light blue eyes. Karen carries a short cane that she has used in the past to assault male patrons. No one wants to hurt the old woman, but she has become a nuisance to the business.
Reward: 100gn
Expires: Ongoing

I wanted to let everyone know that I have added a new Real Estate section to the Housing Rentals thread: here

Full credit to Pegasus for the idea. This seems to make buying a home a little easier and a more unique experience. You are all still free to design and purchase your homes via use of the Price List, but I wanted to add this for those that have trouble making those calculations.
