But seriously, really interesting thread. I enjoyed reading about the fallout of Patrick’s initiation, and, as always, enjoyed the Ellasin snarkiness that was brought into play. I think there was some great character development for both your PCs, but especially for Patrick, who will now have to contend with being a mage on top of all the other crazy that’s going on in his life! I’m wondering what’s going to happen to Alistair and Patrick’s relationship now?
Alistair, as always, I quite liked your portrayal of Ellasin. I’ve read two threads of yours where she’s been included, and they’re always fascinating. One small note - there would be no House of Solange in Rynmere. The seven noble families listed in the lore are the only noble families. The Solange family could certainly be a wealthy family, but wouldn’t be nobility. Also, a reminder to please deduct Vhalar 716 expenses for your job & NPC from your ledger. I've gone ahead and reviewed this thread because it's been pending since before the season change (thank you for your patience!).
Patrick, great emotional reaction to the discovery. The thread certainly took quite the arc, going from his calm and cocky demeanour to being curled up in a corner and called weak. And we all learned something new! Patrick’s a bit of a nudist.
Overall, enjoyable read! I really hope to see the two of you write together again in future.
If you feel I've missed anything or if you have questions about your review, please don't hesitate to send me a quick PM. Thanks!
