Vivian simply nodded at the comment about her loyalties, but she did snort when Zvezdana commented that Blackwood was trying to set himself up as king. "Even if he has capacity to be king, it won't fly. One of the major causes of this rebellion was Cassander's blood status. When the girls started to play, Vivian simply their music surround her, relaxing into the melody as they played. The girls were very good, as Vivian had said, far better than Vivian herself was. In truth, she had no real artistic talent to speak of. She couldn't draw, play any instrument and ability to act was positively abysmal. She was very much a being of practical, rather than artistic, skills and abilities. However, she enjoyed good music, and the twins melody was just that, though it sounded like it had more purpose than just being a good song. She wondered at that moment, but didn't pursue it at the moment.
When the finished, she smiled warmly at the girls. "A lovely song. I've heard court musicians with far less skill." she said, her tone making it clear she genuinely meant the compliment. When Zvezdana stood up, Vivian did as well, walking over to retrieve the case she had brought with her. She sat down and grinned as Zvez handed over two daggers to the girls, along with a package. "Aye, I'll help you learn to use those. Though Seira's already used my own sword before." she said, grinning slightly at Seira as she spoke.
When Zvez handed Vivian another package, Vivian responded by handing Zvez the box she had brought. Her gift to her friend was a longbow, simple in concept perhaps, but the one she gotten made for Zvezdana was a weapon worthy of a queen. Zvez's gift to her, however, was armor fit for a soldier, and for Vivian, it was a very thoughtful gift. It and the shield that would replace her old would be very useful for her.
