Hide & Seek

Oh no! Lisirra is missing! There's been no word for her for quite some time, although no one seems to really know how long and while people may wonder, she's an Immortal and if she wants to be missing, that's her prerogative. Or is it something more? Zemos hears a rumor (your prerogative where and how) that seems to indicate that the last time someone actually saw Lisirra was right before the events of The Global.

I'm giving you a lot of room to create a plot that is interesting for your character, and I'll be along for the ride to nudge when needed.

This is likely to have a few steps / stages. These are some beginning steps and are suggestions only. I will likely add things as we go along:

• Visit sites important to Lisirra to gain information!
• Talk to people. What do they know? What have they heard?
• Investigating rumors of when the Global event happened.

Summary of Story: Zemos studies toxins and also the Immortal Lisirra with Elisabeth. He learns much about her immediate relations and also some other relevant info such as her place in the world.
Anything else relevant? He also is hinted to have begun to break the amnesia that was imposed on him after escaping the FRA of Viden.

As a result of this, something happens in Cylus or Ashan 723 (Your choice): - While traveling in the current season, Zemos come across a seemingly sick human male with two brands on his face and a silver circle on the back of his hand. His clothing is in tatters, he has no shoes and his feet are bleeding. He has a cough that keeps him from getting out many words and the words he does say don't seem to make any sense. It could be thought that the sickness is affecting his body and mind. If nothing is done, the man is dead by the following trial.

Summary: Zemos meets with a cultural exchange student from Desnind, who has information on Lisirra's cult there. They share information about Desnind, Lisirra, and her domains.
Other things: Zemos goes another step toward breaking the amnesiac conditioning of the FRA of Viden. it's heavily implied that it's all but broken, but he can begin to gain knowledge of who he was.

As a result of this: - While Zemos is packing up his books, he finds a strange green bound tome with no title but strange medical notes included in it. These notes seem to reflect thoughts he had about creating anti-antidotes but it also contains well-take notes from this meeting. The book is only half-full of notes and at the last page with writing there is an address and a date in the current season.

Summary of Story: Zemos finds some dead guy with a weapon, takes the weapon for himself and sets up camp. He later finds a sick dude under a rock, and tries to alleviate his disease by absorbing some of the lesser diseases or symptoms into himself (Yithnai Carrier ability). He tries to get him to tell him where it hurts, and figure out how he can save him, or at least absorb the disease into himself if possible. Or get information from the man.
Anything else relevant? Not much! The guy screams loud so we might get the kind of attention Zemos doesn't want. I was thinking, if the guy dies, Zemos could find a token/coin for the Burho Beneath, so he'll be escorted there when he finds the gates of Yaralon. Either way, if I can may I assume having received a coin somewhere along the line? I'll thread finding it elsewhere if necessary.

Hello! As a result of this Zemos learn the man certainly was sick, but there was something more to it. It seems that shortly after removing his minor ailments whatever was causing his sickness intensifies and the man dies (up to you how it plays out). If you loot him you will indeed be able to find one of the Burho Beneath's unique coins. When presented at any of the gates to Yaralon Zemos will be welcomed into the city free of the tax. Within a few trials (or breaks) up to you, he will be approached by a beggar asking for help. The beggar will present Zemos with another coin in return for his help.

Summary of Story: Zemos completes his Run. He acquires a coin token from the Burho Beneath from the corpse of the man he'd found. He is then pursued by Massibex hounds, as he rides the dead one he has risen as a giant husk to escape their pursuit. he loses most of his other thralls as sacrificial distractions to the massibex pack, and just makes it to the Spear Gate, where the mercenaries drive off the marauding pack. He is escorted to the Low Emperor.
Anything else relevant? Maybe this can be set up for a task from the Low Emperor, to begin earning Burho Coins.

Summary of Story: Zemos finds lodging in the Burho Beneath and with a hut in the Silk Burho. Raises a zombie gaunt.
Anything else relevant? This is related to some other things, including the matching address he found in the book with all kinds of necromantic and toxic secrets.

Summary of Story: Zemos does a calendar thing, where the Crescent Empress wishes someone to recover precious cargo. He accomplishes that.
Anything else relevant? Not sure, he uses necromancy a lot, and ends up with some collateral damage iwhile duelling.

Summary of Story: Zemos does the Seasonal, goes through the sewers slaying goblins and helping a rag-tag party of adventurers. Enters Emea, disturbs a tomb and entombs one of his party members inadvertently. Rescues a leper child who takes to following him.
Anything else relevant? Lots of necromancy was used, some Yithnai powers too.

A package is delivered to Zemos with eleven Burho Coins inside of it at some point within the season. There is a card with a simple message written on it. Good Doctor, A man of talent had come to Yaralon. If he can be convinced to join our Burho, it will expand beyond the walls it is in now. I leave the task to you to meet with with individual and his allies. I will message him separately. Be in the sewers at every turn of the moon this cycle. If he does not arrive, we will have our answer. If he does, you are to induct him into our world. Give him a coin and a task of your choosing. For your first induction, I have provided the eleventh coin. Do not betray this tradition. Should you attempt this but fail, you will be forgiven. Induction is never easy, but you have shown character that I am confident in. Perform this task for me, and I will help you find what you seek to the best of my ability. - Your Emperor Additionally Zemos will be approached by a beggar within the season who has a simple message, "Below, above, it's all the same. Sewer, sea, same. She appreciates your work. She will remember. If you are ever in need, follow the white rabbit."
