99th of Vhalar, Arc 717

Ti'niva walked among the cities trees, following the sound of the people gathered at the great temple. He had not attended the festival since he was a child and his father had brought him to enjoy the company of others. Some might even still call him a child being only 19 but those would be people who knew little of what he had lived. Still tonight was not a night to worry about such things for the young man and as Áine walked beside him he smiled. There was something about her presence that had brought a calm to him since they bonded, he felt more whole and complete even though before he had not fully realised he was missing something of himself. Still it had been an eventful arc for him and he was finally beginning to feel his life settling and his home once again welcoming him.

The smell of smoke and cooking meat began to fill the hunters nostrils as he approached the great fires, people were shouting and singing, children screamed and ran playing their games while the elderly sat and enjoyed their drinks watching as the young experienced what they had seen a hundred times over. For a nineteen year old Ti definitely felt older like he had become an adult as a child, deprived of the running and screaming and pushed towards the sitting and drinking but tonight he was determined to be young and to embrace the wonders of youth. So he approached one of the fires where people stood and danced, a giant hog roasted over the fire and the smell was absolutely irresistible.

Weaving his way through the crowd the devoted man reached the one serving the hog who turned in a flurry of black as her loose hair swung behind her. "Onitẹsiwaju alailesin." She smiled at him with deep brown eyes regarding him as her head cocked slightly. "Dẹọdọ kur ke’u ara?" Ti'niva's voice caught in his throat for a moment, not that the poor boy understood why still he forced them out and let himself smile. "Fẹsï ies caizuro, tsä eo." Ti'niva watched as she prepared the the wooden plate for him, dropping two slices of hog on top of a thin lining of forest apple sauce with a dribble of the meat juices collected in a pan hung below the turning hog.

Ti accepted the plate with a shy nod and smile as she spoke again. "Säkọ daneth anou caizuro." She laughed softly and it was contagious as the youthful Ti let out a soft chuckle of his own, even Áine let out a soft purr before wandering off into the crowd of dancing people. "Ọfïïsï ke’u. Èrè ies pín." He took a bite and smiled a small amount of juice running down his chin as he nodded at the woman. She giggled this time and reached forward, the young man almost going cross eyed as he followed her thumb to his chin and he swore his heart stopped for a moment as she rubbed off the small droplets. She smiled and looked up at him coyly causing Ti to suddenly feel overwhelmed, he smiled again before retreating with a nod into the crowd.

He shook his head as he wormed his way out of the dancing people and into the open or at least what he thought was the open before he bumped straight into someone, he jumped back in surprise and dropped his plate to the floor looking up to see who it was he had bumped into with a quick apology. "Sev aji kïnä, sev jasi takip ïstïnbädï ke’u." His apologetic hazel hues would meet whoever was stood before him.
