Appearance/Biometrics: Black hair, green eyes, with a slender yet hardened build. He stands at about 6' tall.

Personality: A dour groundsman, who takes his profession seriously, to the point of hyperfocus. The only real way to break through his gruff demeanor is to get him talking about his hobbies, which include digging up earth, gardeniing, and tool-making. There's little else to him than that, at first glance.

Backstory: A recent arrival from Almund, he saw the opportunity to get in on the ground level as a major groundskeeper for the village of Havardr. He used to be a groundskeeper for hire in the more affluent portions of Almund. He left shortly after the pirate attacks and subsequent fires that broke out in Cylus 724. He has ambitions to make his mark in the village of Havardr, as he had little hope of doing so in the beleaguered Almund.

In-Game History Thus Far:

Role in Havardr: Groundskeeper, landscape developer.

Appearance/Biometrics: A stocky and tall lad, at 6'3", his red beard and hair grow wild, and he wears the trappings of the Havardreen hunter, along with the furs even while he's venturing and occupying civilized areas. His eyes are black.

Personality: Buoyant and optimistic, he's also possessed of a keen curiosity about the world. His good spirit is indefatigable, to where few things will rattle his cheery disposition. He enjoys drawing up plans for new structures, and innovating the time-honored art of yurt building.

Backstory: He is a born Havardreen, child to a resident hunter that had a daliance withi an aukari traveler, who moved on soon afterward. It was his curiosity about the world and optimism that prompted him to take residence at Scalvoris University before the Pirate attack on Havardr. There he learned much about shipwrighty and architecture in general.

In-Game History Thus Far:

Role in Havardr: Builder and industrialist and fellow hunter.

Appearance/Biometrics: She wears the trappings of a wild wise woman, and some speculate that she might originate from one of the Scaltoth tribes. However her past is mired in mystery, compounded by her blank expression generally when one asks about her past. Her hair is brown, her eyes are brown, and she has a ruddy complexion that suggests a lot of time outside and in the sun. She is around 5'11" tall, with an average build.

Personality: Mysterious and inscrutable. She likes keeping her own private life and personal history close to her chest. She has landed in Havardr in pursuit of her spirit bond, and since presumably has found it, but never speaks of it. She was there when the pirate attack occurred, and treated many of the hurts suffered by the settlers that remained. She's caring and very much a mother-like figure to the people of Havaardr, although she has no children of her own.

Backstory: One of the original survivors of the pirate attack, she is not born Havardreen but arrived some few arcs ago as a healer and wise woman, who Linca had brought on to help around the village. She's mostly tolerated by the people theree, but there is a degree of suspicion about her origins, and whether she's truly a tribal, secretly.

In-Game History Thus Far:

Role in Havardr: Healer, medicine woman, wise woman, and shaman.

Skill Ideas
Hunting
Fish out of Waters: Through his long practice of following schools of fish through the water, and even individual aquatic species, he's able to find aquatic creatures in places where they're not normally found. With this capstone, freshwater fish can be discovered and caught in salt water. Ice water fish will be found in warmer climates, and generally aquatic species may be found in places where they are otherwise scarce.

Omnifishent: Rorom's experience creating scrimshaw has led him to choose just the right fish bones, skins, flesh, and ivory for every crafting purpose. The bones and ivory he chooses are often enough as valuable and precious as gold or gems. If making weapons from fishbone, they can be as durable as steel. The hides he picks from catches can be as strong and durable as mail armor. The fish skins that he harvests can make for beautiful garments if worked by a leatherworker or tailor. He needs the associated skill in various other crafts in order to make anything useful out of them himself, however.

Sea Steward: Once a season, when completing a hunting job thread in a particular coastal city's waters, he can improve their fishing prospects This leads to greater yields in fish, and healthier populations of aquatic life afterward. Mechanically for Rorom, this means he makes +5 WP when using his hunting skill to catch fish in a job thread. This WP bonus cannot be added cumulatively with other capstone-related WP bonuses.
Becoming Stuff
Theme: Oceanic Metamorphosis
Persona: Vagrant of the Sea: Rorom's becoming spark tends to prefer forms that are at home on the water, and in particular on the sea. Whether limiting his diet to taking sustenance from the sea and no other source, or taking forms specifically that dwell in or near water, it will encourage him to mold to these forms in more or less subtle ways. Potentially, it might lead to mutations that lock him in to aquatic forms or forms of other families that dwell on the water.
Witchmark: A colorful tattoo forms along the back of his right hand, wrist, and forearm. It shows a series of tattoos showing the three sovereign substances of each totem belonging to Rorom in close proximity. Potentially, if he acquired enough totems, the tattoo could spread over his entire arm and into his torso.

Competent Mutation: Pescatarian: Rorom can only gain true sustenance from aquatic life. Whether it be kelp, fish, or other forms of organic life that dwells in the water, he will only find true sustenance from aquatic sources of nutrition. This doesn't affect his drinking habits, however. When, at expert, he develops the technique Feed, he will be unable to use the technique on anything other than animals that belong to the aquatic family.

NPC 1

Name: Noille
Race: Biqaj
Date of birth: 21st of Saun, Arc 699
Title: Fishmonger
Skills:

Negotiation: 30
Endurance: 15
Detection: 30
Blades (Dinnerware): 25

Other information:

Appearance: Image Standing at about 5'8", with long brown hair and ever-changing eye color. Her build is modestly shapely, not quite overweight, but nor is it athletic.

Personality: (Chaotic Good) Effervescent, bright, and shrewd. She can talk circles around most people she meets, yet is fully capable of staying focused and on topic. While flirty with those she fancies, she doesn't tolerate louts who she has no interest in.

Relationship to PC: Acquaintance, employee.

Anything: Her lack of a surname is owed to the fact that she never knew her parents, she was raised in an orphanage. She had been working at a tavern until she got tired of being groped by drunken sailors, layabouts, and fools. She ran into Rorom by chance, when he happened to be attending the tavern she worked at. He noted her shrewd negotiation skills when dealing with difficult customers, not allowing those whose tab had gone overdue to leave.

He decided to stay in touch with her, after coming to the decision that he would found a business in the near future.

Relationship to PC: Acquaintance, employee, protege.
