Name:Hina Bravehart
Race: 50% Avriel 50% Human
Date of Birth: Cylus 1, 701
Marks: Loshova

Languages Spoken: Common (Fluent), Ancient (broken)

Appearance

Hina's natural facial expression is kindhearted. Her physical appearance is much like the image above, except that she has pure white wings due to her half-avriel lineage. She stands at about 5'6" and weighs about 120 pounds. Her brown hair comes down to her waist and is often very well kept. Her hands are nearly always gloved due to the punishment they take and her body is usually covered by the bare minimum to get by, depending on the season.

Personality

Ever since Hina became a citizen of Rharne, she has been a very happy go lucky girl. She dedicates herself to helping others that need it, such as helping fight crime and helping old ladies cross the street. She is obsessed with becoming to a hero to the point where she goes out of her way just to get recognition for doing good deeds. She acts as a neutral good alignment purely because she doesn't believe in locking people up. She does her best to embody the values of Ilaren and Ashan.

Outside of her heroics, Hina is actually a rather jealous and secluded girl. She doesn't make friends very easily and her loner attitude is something that drives the few that are interested away. She wants to look the best, be the best, and be recognized for her efforts. Falling short of her goals often makes her overly jaded and cynical lest she fail again.

History

Hina isn't exactly sure where she was born. Her father was an avriel and all her other siblings had been pure avriel. Her mother was a human and for a time, they all lived in a family. When it was clear that she wasn't developing any avriel traits apart from her wings, her father was pressured to banish her or else Hina would face death from the other bird people. Hina and her mother fled to Scalvoris where they lived comfortably using the money her father had given them.

Due to her poor influences as a child, Hina developed a lot of bad habits that got her into doing criminal activities. This persisted throughout her teens, until she was captured by slavers during one of her illicit activities. After being captured, she escaped and ended up freeing the rest of the people that had been captured in secret. The survivors then moved to the nearest city of Rharne where they were granted assistance. Hina traveled home to Scalvoris, but she didn't have the heart to stay. In Rharne she was known for something and she felt purpose there.

After returning back to Rharne, Hina registered as a mage and spent her time fighting criminals in Rharne. She seeks to become a hero and to embody the virtues of her favorite immortals such as Ashan and Ilaren.

She is thrown in jail for chasing after a suspected criminal - she suspects that the judge may have connections to the shadow quarter and wanted to remove her from the picture.

Mark of the Loshova:

Springbringer Skills I: Add an extra three points to one of the following skills: Meditation, Dancing, Medicine or Farming. Any skill points gifted by the mark can exceed the 100 skill point cap. (MEDITATION)

Spirit Cloak (Minor) (3/3):
The Favored has the ability to entice a basic spirit of concept into a partnership. The Loshova takes this spirit around their person and has it attached to their soul. The spirit must willingly agree to this and can be released at any time. While the spirit is attached, it can feed off the ambient energies of the Loshova rather than its concept, keeping it strong. The Loshova benefits from a small resistance from the concept and the ability to sense it without hearing or seeing it around them.

Peer Through The Pool (3/3):
A basic ability given to the Loshova at early levels, Peer through the Pool allows a Loshova to look into the Beneath and see the spirits and souls within. While this does not allow them to interact with them, exactly, they can hear and see the activities through the barrier between worlds. Sometimes this can be instructive, as spirits of pain and torture lingering in a location might identify it as a place hiding a dark secret. Beings in the Beneath are only loosely aware of those in the physical world, but when this ability is used the user becomes as clear to them as they are to him/her. This ability also allows a Loshova to instinctively guess the nature or purview of each spirit they see.

Ephemeral Sustenance (1/3):
The Loshova gains the ability to feed as spirits do, by immersing themselves within the concept of whichever spirit is bound to their soul. While this will never completely replace the need of food and water, it allows a Loshova to survive with very little physical sustenance so long as they have an abundance of concept to surround themselves with.

Spring's Bounty (1/3):
The Loshova brings new life wherever they go. In the cities and towns in which they stay longer than a season, the crops will grow at an unprecedented rate. Life explodes around the Ashan Blessed, following them even into the cold of Cylus. Places they have dwelt longer than a few trials begin to show signs of their passage. Flowers, shoots, vines, and roots grow exponentially in the area closest to where they rest. While this power is muted in the colder months, it is far from absent. Even Tunawa can benefit from this aura, healing their bodies much swifter when in the presence of a Loshova

Broken Shackles (Minor) (0/3):
A Loshova must be free. To protect freedom and those oppressed is a creed they take to heart. This ability imparts some of that mission onto their being. A Loshova can never be bound with simple restraints. Knots will untie, hooks will unclasp, and simple manacles will spring open. If the restraint purpose is to restrict the Loshova’s personal movement and does not include a lock of complex design, the Loshova can free themselves whenever they desire

Verdant Protection (0/3):
The Loshova is protected by the new life they bring. All that is verdant and green bends to give them safe haven. During the spring seasons, a Loshova will suffer no discomfort sleeping in a forest. In every other season, plants rise to protect the blessed. Roots curl around the feet of attackers, acorns drop from above, clouds of pollen and seeds blow to obscure an attacker’s gaze. Even the trees themselves will bend and creak to put themselves between the marked and their enemies. While the plants are by no means quick, this power can prove incredibly difficult to overcome when summoned in a forest.

Equipment

  • Homing Bola Launcher: Sometimes, people try to flee from the Guardians, not wanting to spend time in jail or because they were wanted for more serious crimes that weren't pinned on them yet. As the Guardians don't like it when people run from them, a special tool was developed for them to help catch these runaway ne'er-do-wells. This crossbow like apparatus fires a bola at a fleeing target and the bola is enchanted so that it will follow whoever the launcher was aimed at when fired, making it difficult for a criminal to avoid being caught. However, the Guardian has to be careful, as the bola homes in on whoever the launcher is aiming at at the exact moment of firing. If mis-timed shot can lead to the wrong person being bola'd.

Azureblade Armor (Heavy Armor): An “Extravagant” set of Leather or Heavy armor (the player may choose) that is made from either a combination of Steel/Cobalt (In the case of heavy armor) or from a dark blue dyed leather with Crystalline ingot ornamentations on the gloves and shoulders. There is also the signature blue Lightning Knight cape included.

Silverwind (greatsword): A “Good” quality sharp edged weapon made from Cobalt ingots (This can include but is not limited to swords, polearms, daggers, axes, and the like. Let the Prophet know what you prefer.) The hilt or grip is wrapped in fine gray leather and there is a round piece of Lapis Lazuli set in the pommel.
