Ghost Chasm
Ghost Chasm is an eerie place. It is filled with mist, and the sun never reaches its depths even in the height of Saun. This leaves the place bathed in a ghostly twilight during the trial all arc long. At night, something in the rocks of the chasm makes the whole place glow with an eerie blue light. This is caused by a mineral found in the rock that forms the chasm walls. From time to time, people who explore this eerie place can hear faint whispery voices. When the wind blows through the chasm, one can hear these voices more clearly; almost clear enough to pick out a few words. And once in a while people who are brave enough to explore this chasm come back saying that they felt an icy cold hand gripping their shoulder from behind. This is just hearsay of course. Mere rumor and nothing more. And yet, enough people have claimed to experience this sensation that one must begin to wonder...
It is said that Ghost Chasm is haunted...and it is. Many people have lost their lives exploring this chasm. This is mostly due to people trying to climb the walls, and falling to their deaths. But every once in a while explorers will find a dead body that has no obvious signs of injury. Male or female, young or old, these corpses all share one thing in common. They have an expression of terrible fear, as if they had been frightened to death.
Ghost Chasm attracts adventurers to come and explore it because of the mystery that surrounds it. Why have so many people died there? What killed the ones that look as though they were frightened to death? Why do the chasm walls glow at night? What treasures might be found in such an eerie place? One thing is for certain. While rare, ghost metal has been found in the depths of the chasm.

Other Information: In life, Faye was an alchemist who was drawn to Ghost Chasm in the hopes of finding rare or never before seen alchemical ingredients. She lived life to the fullest, loving every trill of it, and she could never turn down a good challenge. She was outgoing and friendly to all who met her. Faye fell to her death one night while climbing the walls of the chasm in an attempt to find out how and why they glow at night.
In death, she is a phantom that is still obsessed with exploring the cavern. At times, she may aid living explorers, but she is equally likely to hinder them depending on her mood. She has also been known to kill people who anger her by frightening them to death. Faye is a leader of sorts. There are dozens, perhaps hundreds of ghosts existing in Ghost Chasm, all of varying types. Faye is among the strongest of them all, and as such has some level of control over the weaker ones.
