Price List Q&A
Welcome to the
Price List skill Q&A. Any and all questions surrounding the Price List can be asked here. A mod will answer these, and then, if necessary, update the wiki page. As long as it is related to the Price List, it is welcome here.
Additionally, you can ask for additions to the Price List to be added here. You may provide suggestions for prices on objects you request, but it is ultimately up to the mod that approves them.

This section will be for recording any lore updates for the Price List. This will only be for clarifications, updates, etc. Grammar, spelling, and other such updates do not need to be recorded here. All updates should be detailed within a post within this thread, and linked to the list below.

Prices of wells would be nice. Some kinds don't seem so rare that they wouldn't have a price.
Are the weapons on the price list for iron, or steel? Or Idalinium? To come up with a more expensive metal cost, do I just multiply it out?

In regards to the second question, assume that unless specifically stated otherwise, all weapons are to be considered Iron. As a general rule, upgrading to another metal will follow the following procedure:
1/2 of Ingot Cost * Original Weapon Cost.

How much do greatswords cost, in all their varieties?
Also, if someone wanted a weapon that was both Masterwork and Extravagant, how would the pricing of that work? Or is it implied that a Masterwork weapon can be as fancy/etc as an Extravagant one?

The vegetable section lists "Spinach" twice, at two different prices. Which one is correct?

In the starting package, we get a chest. I assume that this is a simple, basic, undecorated chest of average quality. When I needed another one, I found that a dowery chest was listed at 60 GN in the price list, but that no other types of chests were listed. I halved the cost of the dowery chest to get the one I needed, but it would help if there were a variety of chests available in the price list - different sizes and qualities, maybe. Or maybe with and without locks.
Another thing I have run into is the need for toys. Things like stuffed toys, balls, sets of blocks, and so on. When I need one, I've been buying them for 1 GN, but it would be nice to have a selection in the price list for those of us who have NPC kids.
