What Are Succession Characters?

Here at Standing Trials we want to ensure that players are rewarded for longevity and immersion in story / plot. Therefore, we have put forward the following "succession package" for those players who are creating a new pc following the death of an existing one.

What is the process?

• If a pc dies and you wish to start a "succession character", then please posts in the PSF, linking your now-dead PCs CS and the thread in which their death occurred.
• You can create the CS for your "succession character" but you should not put it up for approval.
• If you have chosen to kill your PC, be prepared for the person handling your ticket to clarify with you that this is a final deal - there is no ability to change your mind once the final succession package has been awarded.
• This will then be put to discussion and vote among the existing active prophets to determine which succession package you will receive. This decision is made based on a number of factors including, but not limited to how the character death occurred, length of time playing, post count etc.
• When you receive the final succession package - the additions must be recorded on your CS and linked to the approval. They will also be recorded on your Character Wiki. You may now put your new PC up for CS approval.

What are the possible packages?

You will be awarded one of six "succession packages":

Package A

• 20 additional experience for new pc (used subject to all usual limits)

Package B

• 30 additional experience (used subject to all usual limits)
• 5 knowledge for new pc (used subject to all usual limits)

Package C

• 50 additional experience (used subject to all usual limits)
• 10 knowledge for new pc (used subject to all usual limits)

Package D

• 50 additional experience (used subject to all usual limits)
• 15 additional knowledge for new pc (used subject to all usual limits)
• Wealth Tier maximum 6.
• PC may also start with up to 3 non-magic skills at 26 XP + 11 knowledge

Package E

• 100 additional experience (used subject to all usual limits)
• 30 additional knowledge for new pc (used subject to all usual limits)
• Wealth Tier maximum 7.
• PC may also start with up to 3 non-magic skills at 26 XP + 11 knowledge
• PC may also start with up to 2 non-magic skills at 76 xp + 22 knowledge.

Package F

• 200 additional experience (used subject to all usual limits)
• 60 additional knowledge for new pc (used subject to all usual limits)
• Wealth Tier maximum 8.
• PC may also start with up to 6 non-magic skills at 26 XP + 11 knowledge
• PC may also start with up to 4 non-magic skills at 76 xp + 22 knowledge.

But what if I change my mind?

This is a non-reversible decision and you must be absolutely sure before you take it.
