The Kejradin, pronounced Kaer-ah-deen, is an apex predator and domesticated mount found within the unmarked lands west of Lysoria. Kaernhad represents the only place in the world to carry a significant population of Kejradin, known as the Kaern Wyvern to those far from the region.
The Kejradin is a domesticated beast known for its incredible sense of smell, mobility, and a unique biological trait that allows them to grow horns, splinters and spikes across its body, flinging these at foes with deadly precision. The creature can indeed fly, and is the chosen mount of the Aelothari Horde due to its general excellence and flexibility in combat. Physically, the Kejradin is considered an exceptionally powerful companion, with thick muscles, high agility and fair strength. Notably, the Kejradin are very familial, and tend to form incredibly large families, often treating their human companions and masters as members of their flock.
Price: 1,500 GN, 2,500 Trained, only found in Kaernhad Habitat: Kaernhad Mountains and Alpines Lifespan and Development: The Kejradin wyvern are born via egg and kept high in the alpine mountains. After hatching, they require two to three years of life before reaching their maturing years and learning how to fly. After about four to five years of age, they are considered adults in their prime, and remain as such until their twenty fifth year. Remaining venerable from this point on, most Kejradin pass away at the age of thirty to thirty five.
They weigh, on average, about 1,800 lbs (or 816 kg). Male Kejradin tend to weigh about 10-20% more than female Kejradin, and usually sit at about 2,000 lbs (or 907 kg). Diet: They are omnivores, though they prefer venison and lamb and are often domesticated by feeding them meats and proteins as developing pups. Temperament: The Kejradin Wyvern are very protective of their family, and can be incredibly territorial. Unfortunately, most are domesticated by slaughtering their parents before them and their fellow pups (the term for their young) are taken in. Most Kejradin are mounts to the Aelothari Horde, a remaining Clan of Lotharro between Gauthrel and Lysoria. Abilities: The Kejradin can grow spiked bones rapidly from many parts of their body, similar to the Albion of Gauthrel. They can launch these spikes at incredible precision, known to be capable of ripping through armor and puncturing flesh due to the high velocity and force of the flung shards. Additionally, the Kejradin can unfold (or rather expand) a set of wings from its arms at any time and take flight, making it an amiable mount for land and air. The Kejradin is a muscular, agile and durable creature, an incredible warmount far superior to both the Bruxen and Sohr Khal.
This is the school where the children of Treth go starting at the age of five arcs, and continuing until they graduate at the age of seventeen arcs. Although attending school is mandatory for all children, it is understood that Treth is a farming community. As a result, the older children are often absent for trials at a time to help their parents with planting and harvesting their crops if their parents are farmers. But that does not mean that they are not responsible for making up any time that they are absent. Each child who is absent for any significant amount of time is responsible for learning anything that is taught in their absence. Whether they choose to learn the material on their own, or attend special make up classes is up to them. But they will be tested on the material taught during their absence before they are allowed to graduate.
The school is located at the edge of the community. Its primary purpose is the education of the future generations of Treth. But the school is also used as a community center. If the school bell is rung outside of normal school breaks, it means that an emergency has occurred, and all who hear it will gather at the school to learn what happened, and offer aid.

Treth General Goods is located in a prime location in the center of the village. Everyone who lives in or near the farming community comes here to buy their supplies. You won't find anything fancy here, but the small store always has an ample supply of basic goods needed for life in a small farming community.

The Old Sow's Ear is Treth's local tavern. It is a popular spot for natives of the village, and farmers from the surrounding farms alike to come and relax. The food is simple fare, but good, as are the drinks. And all of it is produced locally.
Travelers who come to Treth on business can rent a room during their stay. There are five rooms available for rent. The rooms are small, and simple, but clean, and reasonably priced. Baths cost extra, as does renting a stall in their stable, or pasture room for a horse.
The tavern boasts of entertainment at each meal. They have a skilled bard who lives at the tavern, and local musicians will often come and perform in exchange for a free meal. It is a good way for them to get a chance to perform in front of a crowd, and begin to build a reputation for themselves.
Hiram
Name: Hiram Created by: Tei'serin Nji'ryn
Race: Mixed (Biqaj/human) Birthday/Age: 27 Ashan, 682/35 arcs Title: Owner Skills: Business Management; 30, Brewing; 50, Medicine; 5, Mixology; 15 Details: Hiram is a friendly man with a watchful eye, and a ready smile. Very little escapes his notice in his tavern. He is a good listener, and usually knows the right things to say. And he always has a good story to tell. Hiram is the kind of guy that is almost impossible not to like, and he has the talent of making people feel comfortable around him. Like all good bar tenders, he will never betray any secrets his customers tell him.
When he was younger, he worked on his family ship, but an accident during a severe storm off the coast of Ne'haer left him with a leg injury that never fully healed. He walks with a slight limp, and his right leg pains him greatly during a storm. Since he was no longer able to work on a ship, his family left him in Ne'haer with enough nels to start up a business of his own. He did well for himself there, but he missed the closeness of a tightly knit family group. Since then, he met his wife, and moved back to Treth with her. Although Treth isn't as lively as the city, he has found the closeness of family that he craved.
Hiram brews his own ales, beer, cider, and mead. He has just enough knowledge about herbs to be able to create "special" drinks that contain one or more herbs for flavor, or "healing" properties.
Arla
Name: Arla Created by: Tei'serin Nji'ryn
Race: Human Birthday/Age: 17 Saun, 684/33 arcs Title: Cook Skills: Baking; 45, Business Management; 5, Cooking; 50 Details: Arla was the daughter of one of the farmers who lives near Treth. But much to her father's disappointment, she had little interest in taking over the farm when he could no longer manage it. Cooking was her passion. Every spare moment she could find was spent mastering existing recipes, and experimenting in creating her own.
She met Hiram in Ne'haer when she was working at a restaurant there to perfect her skills. It was love at first sight, and they were married less than an arc later. But Arla was never truly comfortable with the hustle, and crowds of the city. So once she was satisfied with her cooking skills, she and Hiram moved back to Treth where they established the Old Sow's Ear. If one were to ask Hiram, he would say that his wife was the co-owner of the tavern. But Arla is quite content to leave running the business in his capable hands. That allows her to focus on what she does best; provide simple, but hearty, and delicious fare to serve her customers.
Tar'isa
Name: Tar'isa Created by: Tei'serin Nji'ryn
Race: Sev'ryn Birthday/Age: 1 Vhalar, 694/23 arcs Title: Bard Skills: Field Craft; 30, Medicine; 30, Musical Instrument: Fiddle; 20, Singing; 20 Details: Tar'isa left Desnind several arcs ago in order to find her familiar. She was successful in doing so, but she fell in love with the small village she was staying in when she found him. So although she intends to return home someday, she is currently living at the tavern where she works. Hiram and Arla gave her work while she was searching for her familiar, and she became close friends with them during her quest. As a result, she continues to work for them.
Tar'isa earned Severath when she was a young child. She is very loyal to Moseke, and although she is still young, she has risen to Exalted through the hard work of protecting the Willow Woods, and those who travel through it. When not working at the Old Sow's Ear, Tar'isa will guide people into the forest to gather herbs, mushrooms, and fallen branches for carving, or firewood. She will not permit anyone to chop down a tree in her presence, however.
Her familiar is a male falcon named Ter. He represents her need for freedom, and independence.
Jared
Name: Jared Created by: Tei'serin Nji'ryn
Race: Mixed (Sev'ryn/human) Birthday/Age: 15 Ymiden, 682/35 arcs Title: Bouncer Skills: Blades: Dagger; 30, Intelligence; 26, Intimidation; 14, Unarmed Combat: Brawling; 30 Details: Jared is Arla's cousin, and they have been close friends ever since they were young children. He has always taken a protective "big brother" role towards her, and this has not changed now that they work together. Jared serves as protection for the tavern that Arla and her husband love so much.
He may not look all that menacing, but when trouble stirs, he is all business. A dangerous look appears in his eyes that may stop some would be trouble makers in their tracks. But for those who insist on causing trouble in "his" tavern, his skills with brawling, and his trusty blade, are more than enough to stop rowdy drunks intent on causing a fight.
Jared is a stern, no nonsense kind of man with a strict policy; don't cause trouble in his bar, and you won't get trouble from him. He has a soft spot for children, and is prone to giving them treats, especially on festivals. But he has a darker past, and at times, that past still haunts him.
Arcs ago, Jared was obsessed with earning nels to help save his parents' farm. In the attempt to earn as much money as he could, he fell into a dangerous crowd. He took a job as a body guard with a man named Thorin arcs back that lasted for several arcs. When he realized that he had become little more than a thug for Thorin, he quit working for him, and returned to Treth, where he got a job working at the Old Sow's Ear.
But once an employee of Thorin's, that past can never be left behind fully. From time to time, Thorin will contact him, asking for "one more favor." And Jared has little choice but to agree. If he doesn't, Thorin will let slip all of the work that Jared did while in his employ. At best, that would completely ruin his reputation, and likely force him to flee Treth. At worst, he would find himself arrested, and facing trial for a number of unexplained disappearances and deaths over the arcs, both in Treth and the surrounding farms, and in Ne'haer.
Mostly Thorin's "favors" are requests for information. Who is spending more than usual in the tavern? Who looks like they have a lot of nels to spend? What are the latest rumors, and gossip? Things of that nature. But at times, he is asked to gather information on a specific person, or to intimidate someone while "passing on a message."

Name: Tedrik Created by: Tei'serin Nji'ryn Race: Mixed (Sev'ryn/human) Birthday/Age: 21 Cylus, 688 Title: Caravan driver/thug Skills: Blades; dagger; 15, Intimidation; 10, Mount; 10, Torture; 50, Unarmed Combat; brawling; 15 Details: Tedrik was born and raised in Treth. He is often found in the Old Sow's Ear when he isn't working. Ever since he was young, Tedrik has been big for his age, and strong. As a young adolescent, his strength and bullying tendencies impressed a man named Thorin enough for him to offer Tedrik a job. Tedrik leaped at the chance, and never looked back.
Officially, he is a caravan driver, and brings goods between Treth, and Ne'haer. But for the most part, Tedrik is a thug, and a bodyguard. He thrives on violence, and causing pain, but he is clever enough not to get caught at it.
Tedrik is a mean drunk who is prone to starting fights if he can get away with it. But once he is sober, he always pays for any damage that he has done, and is known for paying for rounds of ale for anyone at the tavern while he is there. As a result, he is usually tolerated at the tavern, but most prefer to keep their distance from him, and are wise to do so.
Type of Alcohol: Wine Appearance: When poured the wine appears as a dark black color, but in actuality it is just an extremely deep shade of blue. The wine itself is housed in an uninteresting glass bottled shared by many lower-class wines. The maker know that the importance is the taste, not the appearance. Taste: It has a rich and flavorful sweetness to it. However, it that sweetness is at first masked by the diluted extract of the tus tree. It almost adds a tartness to it at first. It is a wine that is smooth and one could down the entire cup with little effort. Price: 20 GN per glass Alcohol Potency: Due to the mixture of the tus tree sap in the wine, the liquid itself is quite potent. Even the strongest of drinkers will find themselves inebriated after three glasses.

Every Day Elixirs was a wonder to behold in Ne’haer. When entering the business, people were greeted with a gentle chime of the door’s bell. It was a friendly welcoming, but one that cautions patience, for people soon realized that they need to navigate shelf upon shelf of dried herb, remedy, elixir, potion, salve, and balm
The business was established ten arcs ago in response to the increased patronage at The Crazed Corner. It was rumored that, at the time, sickness had found its way within certain hauls of seafood that were being harvested from the port. As a relief to the illness, and the depression of some failed businesses, people were increasingly turning towards the nefarious offerings that the alley offered. Alphonse opened his doors in hopes that people would turn to him, and they did. Back then, it was not uncommon for handfuls of people to be within the small shop at once. Time has not treated Every Day Elixirs well. Gone are the days where the shop was populated, and Alphonse and his wife are barely able to keep the doors open.
Due to the lack of patronage, the shelves and elixirs are covered with dust, but that does not make them any less potent. Near the back of the establishment is a rickety old, wooden counter, and behind it you can almost always find Alphonse. Past the counter lays a room that is blocked by a velvet curtain, and there are rumors that great treasure can be found there; yet, when Alphonse is pressed for information on it, he only sighs and says that is where his wife prepares the remedies. Alphonse is hoping that in the coming arcs he can find a way to turn around his business.
Alphonse Markovic
Name: Alphonse Markovic Race: Human Age: 63 Arcs Skills: Alchemy 60, Business Management 30, Negotiation 30, Poisons 30, Storytelling 10
Alphonse used to be a sweet man. However, with the lack of success of his business he has grown bitter. He is talented at crafting different elixirs and potions, and he worked with the Order of the Adunih as a gold cloak for a time. He finds himself wishing that he was more active with them still. Alphonse can be friendly and a good contact – but that is only to his wife and his customers.
Bridget Markovic
Name: Bridget Markovic Race: Human Age: 57 Arcs Skills: Business Management 10, Negotiation 10, Medicine 60, Unarmed Combat 10, Intimidate 10
Bridget loves her husband, Alphonse, but regrets not voicing her opinion that they should have never opened the business to begin with. She still supports her husband, but she wishes that he would close the business so that he could return to the Order of the Adunih. While Alphonse still attempts to be friendly with the customers, Bridget just wants them out of the store. If someone comes in looking “only to browse”, she is not against making them feel unwelcome.

Created as a joint effort between House Ironridge and local nobles, The Morandi Deep Mines have existed as long as the noble house of Morandi has. It is from these cavernous expanses that the Morandi’s drew part of their great wealth, pulling from the earth both stone and jewels to export to traders hungry to deal with sellers that were not from Ironridge. Both prisoners and professionals worked to dig deeper and deeper for the noble house, and it is in part because of their efforts that the Morandi’s were able to dump enough money into Yurrova to help the township get back on its feet. However, this boon to Yurrova was not without its cost. Many workers lost their lives digging for gems, and some old miners whisper that the deeper one goes into the mines, the clearer one can hear the last moans of dead men being crushed by collapsing shafts.
The mines themselves lay north of the town of Yurrova, bordering the Rolling Red Hills of Ironridge. A smattering of entrances dot the hills, each dedicated to discovery of different minerals. A lone watchtower overlooks the space, with a watchman stationed to keep a weathered eye out for enemy troops or roaming bandits. Inside the mines, the temperature drops dramatically. Man-made tunnels connect with natural caves, and for those who have never been through the mines before, the risk of becoming lost is very apparent.
NPC
Name: Therrin Kraust Created by: Zafir
Race: Human Age: 50 Arcs Title: Mine Foreman Skills: Business Management (45), Mining (30), Intimidation (25) Details: An old man with scowling wrinkles and a piercing gaze, Therrin Kraust has been the foreman of the Morandi Deep Mines for some odd twenty arcs now. He is a strict taskmaster, not taking any nonsense from any employee. He considers himself apolitical, not caring whether a Morandi or Ne’haer is in charge of him. As long as he gets payed, it doesn’t matter much to him who is calling the shots. Moderator approval only needed to investigate hauntings in the mine. Otherwise, no moderator approval needed for location or NPC.
Type of Material: Gem Acquired By: Mining (30+) Rarity: Uncommon Details: Yurrova is a region marked by constant conflict. Some say this conflict has bled down into the very bones into the land, creating such oddities like the Wailing Redstone. A deep scarlet gem fractured with black impurities, the Wailing Redstone is obtained mainly in the Morandi Deep Mines, though there have been some cases where the stone has been found in other areas. A pretty gem, outsiders will often buy this gem for jewelry or adornmanet. However, a true Yurrovan knows better to wear such a stone.
Price: 15 GN Other Information: What gives the stone it’s name is the intense sound the gem release when it cracks. Sounding like the screams of men, women, and children being attacked, the Wailing Redstone is responsible for many old miner’s tales. The stone is not fragile enough to crack by
simply dropping it, the gem must either be crushed or thrown with force to break. When it does break, however, the sound is more than loud enough to draw attention or provide distraction for anyone in the area.

Type of Material: Gem Acquired By: Mining (60+) Rarity: Rare Details: Found both within the mines of Yurrova and Ironridge, the Nyxian Sapphire is a rare beauty among gems. It is a durable gem, often adorning the armor, weapons, and regalia of Ne’haer’s nobles and council members. It is a dark black gem known for the wonderful patterns its impurities take. Speck like stars adorn the gem, imitating what one sees in the night sky above Ne’haer. When light hits the stone, these impurities sparkle brightly and give the owner a celestial, near-divine appearance. Price: 400 GN Other Information: A lesser known application of the gem, when the Nyxian Sapphire is exposed to a large amount of raw ether, an interesting reaction occurs. The stone glows a white-hot, like a star about to go super-nova, and shoots out beams of blinding light. The Sapphire shakes violently, but retain its form. It will rush towards the source of the ether discharge relentlessly, a useful tool for those intent on hunting mages.
