Hello everyone, I'm not going to waste your time with a boring essay. Without further ado....
More recently, I played through Mass Effect with a character with a good heart but ruthless temperament. She made the decisions that everyone else was too afraid to make. But it cost her dearly; though her decisions saved the lives of many, they caused the deaths of those closest to her.
As far as concerns go, I'm a little worried about managing my character's introduction. I enjoy taking the initiative as much as the next guy, but if I may speak candidly, this is a bit of an unfamiliar enviroment to me. In particular, I am not quite sure how to go about establishing pre-existing relationships between the npcs and my character.
Is my character basically walking into a city alone? Or I will have pre-exiting ties to manage? I'm not quite sure if I'm explaining myself well, but hopefully someone understands what I mean.
That being said, I'm sure I'll end up getting a good feel for everything soon enough.
I've been doing so off-and-on for a long time now. I started out pretty young, actually, with Star Wars roleplays. Eventually I moved on to a place called Age of Intrigue, which was a historical rpg set in the late seventeeth century. As I grew as a person, I did fall out of touch with my characters, and that is primarily why I haven't been roleplaying as much for the past year.● Have you roleplayed before? If so, where? If you have, how long have you been roleplaying for?
In many online communities, I have went by "Azarias" in the hopes to maintain a level of anonymity. But it's been more trouble than it's worth, so you guys can just call me Garrett.● Do you have any nicknames you go by? Is there a name you prefer people to call you?
I'm a HUGE fan of Bioware games, primarily because the worlds they create are so immersive, and allow me to really get inside of my characters' heads. It's hard to pick out a favorite, however, but I really enjoyed playing Dragon Age Inquisition as an ambitious mage. Basically, my every decision was based on creating a world just unstable enough to where my character would be able to keep a grip on political power.● What are some of your most favorite characters you've made? They can be from MMORPGs, Video Games, etc.

I'm really excited to delve into the mysteries of your world. Specifically, I'm thinking of the relationships between Arcana and the deaths of the Immortals.● Is there anything you're excited about when it comes to the Standing Trials RP? Anything that you're concerned with?

I'm fairly comptenent with all things related to information technology. As far as hobbies go, I'm a gamer. I enjoy reading and learning, though I have not read a good fictional book in some time. I also have a certain fascination with the nuances of historic cultures.● Do you consider yourself skilled in something (Art for example), if so, what is it? Do you have a favorite hobby besides RPing?
I'm actually a thesaurus that's masquerading as a person. Just don't tell anyone.● What is something unique about you?
