Marciline is Sayren's Master NPC approved by the HD. I am submitting her potter shop so that everything can be kosher.
Oreden’s Pottery

Image
Tea pots, cups, bowls, spoons, urns, and plates of all sizes are a common sight at the Oreden’s Pottery. Expertly crafted the slick designs of Marciline, the owner and sole potter in the shop, are put on display in windows, on shelves and larger pieces behind the counter. The shop as a whole is a small ‘hole in the wall’ sort of establishment. Found nestled, hidden among other smaller shops in midtown, nothing about it particularly sticks out from the rest of the businesses around it. The outside is a shade of tan, much like clay, and the inside is rather plain and simple. Wooden shelves and tables display the wares. A worn rug or two decorates the floor. The wares themselves add a splash of color, and can be found in many different designs. Perhaps the barren and plain surroundings are purposeful, not to distract the eye from what is really important: the pottery.

The owner can be found behind the counter, standing a silent vigil allowing the customers to browse the wares in peace. Though silent her watchful eye never quite leaves those who enter. When she speaks she is straight forward and to the point. Usually stating the price of the particular piece first, before anything else. If asked, she will usually tell the customer the inspiration behind a certain piece. It seems every piece of pottery there has a story behind it, a history, sentimental value to the potter.

Marciline Oreden

Race: Human
Age: Arc 666, Cycle Saun, Trial 22 ~50 years old
Title: Potter
Skills: Attunement 45, Sovereign 30, Amplification 50, Ensorcellment 55, Teaching 30, Pottery 50

Marciline is a shorter lady, and there is already a plethora of grey hairs marring the faded red of her hair. It used to be a firey crimson, but that fire has faded and been tamed over time. Times passage hasnt been kind to Marciline, with prominent age marks over her face, making her appear quite older than she actually is. The stress of the organization and maneuvering and advising the Seekers has taken its toll on the wizards life, but she persists on through sheer willpower and devotion. Her spirit wont be held down simply by the passage of time.. Things might just get done a little slower though. She wears a red robe to compliment her red hair. It is easy to see that she used to be, once upon a time, a woman who shouldnt have been ashamed of her image. Not beautiful, but not average either. Just slightly above, but like all roses, hers faded with time as well.

The Krome Wolf
Image
Appearance: The Krome Wolf is much the same as a standard wolf, just much bigger. These wolves are around the size of a war horse and therefore their height is measured in hands, like a horse. The average Krome Wolf is around 14-16 hands (60 to 64 inches), however, some captive wolves have been recorded at 17-18 hands (68-72 inches). This puts them around the same size as a war horse. The wolves come in varying colours and shades but the predominant colours are, black, white and grey. The colour is genetic and when two wolves of the same colour breed there offspring are guaranteed to be of that colour. However, when two different coloured wolves breed the chance is 50/50 between which colour the pups will be. The wolves weigh in between 1000 and 1300 pounds (540 to 590 kg).

The wolves are stunning beasts to admire, they appear to have a natural nobility about them which is admired by House Krome and why they were chosen as their emblem. They fight to establish who is alpha and their ranks within a pack appear to be based around their fighting prowess, another thing admired by house Krome. Many wild wolves can be seen covered in old wounds from fighting with another pack member in an attempt to gain respect and position in the pack. The wolves will rarely leave the forest during the colder seasons as the trees do provide some protection from the harsher weather. In the summer they can be seen prowling in packs outside of the forests normally through farmland in search of prey.

The fur of a Krome Wolf is a highly sought after fur, with the hunting of the beasts being restricted by the Duke of Krome. Only hunters with special permission are allowed to hunt these creatures, making their fur a rare commodity and those who own some are very lucky. The hair of the creatures is extremely soft and works as great insulation for a person, it is often shiny and will seem to shimmer like the ocean under the right light.

Captive wolves can often be told apart from wild ones as they will frequently have their tails docked. This is done in order to make traveling in formation when used for cavalry easier and also to stop an enemy being able to hack at the tail. This also stops the tails from being used as an anchoring point by a foe.

Habitat: Indigenous to the forests of Krome these wolves can be found nowhere else in the whole of Idalos. At least they are not supposed to leave Rynmere and few are sent out of Krome. It is illegal to sell the wolves as exotic pets and for that reason few will ever be seen outside of Rynmere, those that are will have been illegally smuggled out illegally. These wolves are not provided to people on a whim and neither can they be sold, all live captive wolves are owned by house Krome for use in the military and by their lords and ladies. This is why it is so rare to see any none Krome person riding a wolf and why there are so few in the other parts of the Kingdom. Anyone who owns a wolf in the rest of the kingdom would have had to have it gifted to them by house Krome, a big reason for this being a rare sight.

Lifespan and Development: Much like normal wolves the gestation period for Krome Wolves is around 70 trials, in which time the pups will grow inside of the mother. The litters come in around 4-6 pups and out of these normally 30-50% will not make it to adulthood. However, once the pups are out of the den and able to travel around they tend to be likely to survive. The hardest time for the wolf pups is during there first 2 weeks where they have the highest chance of dying before their eyes open.

For the first cycle of life the wolves will spend a lot of time exploring around the den and playing with each other. They will be accompanied everywhere by an adult wolf to make sure they are safe and not getting lost. This lasts until around the end of the second cycle where they are allowed to start experiencing hunts and learning to be independent.

The wolves will mature by around end of the 3rd Cycle, at this time they will be hunting with the main pack and able to travel around without the company of their mother or another adult member of the pack. Here they become a vital part of the pack, playing their role in hunting and supporting the other members of the pack. The pups will be sexually mature by the end of the first arc and then will often attempt to find their first mate.

The average life span of a wild Krome Wolf is 8-10 arcs, some might live less and some more but this is the general range of a wild wolfs life. However, captive wolves can live between 13-17 arcs, when treated well and with healthy diets any captive wolf can reach this top end of the average.

Diet: The Krome wolf will eat just about anything that bleeds, varying from a rat to a bear. These creatures, due to their pack mentality, are able to hunt creatures bigger than themselves as well. Therefore the wolves have very few limitations on what they will hunt and eat. In captivity the creatures are often fed the best meat the owner can afford, as when on a healthy diet the beasts make formidable foes and speedy mounts. The wolves are completely carnivorous refusing any form of none meat based food, they do like salt though and salt licks can be used in training as rewards or to calm the beasts when riled up.

Temperament: Vicious and dangerous these creatures are incredibly difficult to tame. For this reason they are only ridden by a very select group, The Riders of Krome. With enough skill an accomplished animal trainer can teach these creatures to be suitable for war. However, these wolves become very loyal and therefore the intended rider must always accompany the animal trainer during the wolfs lessons and tutelage so the wolf learns respect and becomes loyal to the intended rider. These creatures will only respond to their masters and it is always advised to steer clear of the creatures unless accompanying their rider or they will most likely attack. This ferocity is why they make such good war mounts, as not only transport but a fighting companion.

In the wild these beasts are a terror, they travel in packs and will hunt nearly anything. It is said that a pack of Krome wolves could take on an adult Jacadon and win, although this is greatly debated by those who have ever seen a Jacadon in combat. The packs are territorial and fights between different packs can frequently break out over food sources and other important territorial areas. There territorial nature and short tempers make them a menace for hunters if they wander into a packs land accidentally.

Abilities: These wolves have no real abilities besides their size, being the size of a horse makes them usable as mounts. The creatures are violent and merciless, therefore making good battle buddies to their riders. The wolves also have huge sharp claws and teeth like razor blades. If these are not enough there immense strength means that a charge from a pack of these creatures could devastate a front line of troops, sending men flying off their feet. These wolves can be fitted with saddles and specially designed Armour. The wolves can carry around 30% of their body weight and therefore Armour must be made with the weight of the rider, his Armour and weapons and any other tackle in mind.

The Riders of Krome

Image
The Riders of Krome are an elite cavalry force of the Krome military, they are considered the best of the best among Krome's mounted warriors. The Riders of Krome are a very select group only accepting the best of the best from the Krome Military into their folds. Not only do Riders of Krome have to be highly skilled in handling mounts and mounted combat but they also have to excel in both ranged and unmounted close quarters combat. This makes a Rider of Krome with or without mount a formidable foe, one that few in the Kingdom can rival. They are treasured by house Krome and the creation of such a formidable military contingent is one of their most proud accomplishments. Any member of Krome will tell you how great the Riders of Krome are and they will give them no end of praise, sometimes valuing them more than Skyriders.

Sometimes Riders will take time out of service to bond further with their wolves. This will normally entail the rider and his wolf leaving into the forest alone, the rider will travel wearing simple fur clothing and riding bare back on his wolf. The idea is for the two to provide for each other and grow closer and more like their own small pack. The riders who take the time to do this tend to have much closer relationships with their mounts, so much so that their ability to control the mounts and increases noticeably. The wolves will also begin to be able to predict their riders wishes and understand the emotions they are expressing, this kind of bond is different from any other. For this reason sometimes Riders struggle to understand the difficulties in human relationships and want it to be more simple. This is not with all riders but is more common with those that bond very strongly with a wolf and before they have been in serious relationships with other people.

The Riders of Krome are unique due to their impressive choice of mount. Much like the Sky riders they are known not for the members but for what they ride. The Krome Wolf is the chosen mount of the Riders of Krome, and these wolves are truly a force to be reckoned with. Their ferocity is unmatched by any other land mount in Rynmere and the fact that they are pack animals means they work well in unison. Their pack mentality plus the guidance of the riders makes the wolves a very important unite in any battle. Although one of the Riders of Krome's most common uses is actually ambush, due to the wolves ability to traverse difficult terrain with speed and move almost silently through forests they are well suited for sneaking up on an unsuspecting force. They effective in all scenarios though, not just ambush, the unites of Riders of Krome have a great ability to disrupt well formed ranks.

The Riders of Krome can be recognised by their dark turquoise/blueish cloaks that have fur trim along the top. This is generally worn over a suit of hard boiled lever armour, this firm, rigid and brittle leather is designed to dent on impact and absorb force from an attack, it is normally worn over the top of a chain mail vest for added protection. A wolf is normally engraved onto the chest piece of the armour, this is a reminder of not only the house they serve but also the mounts they ride to anyone who meets them on foot.

The Wolves of Krome themselves tend to be fitted with a leather saddle and flexible leather armour that covers their torso, neck, head and shoulder joints. This armour is for the protection of the dangerous and important wolves, without any armour their flesh can be pierced as easily as any other creature. The wolves used in organised cavalry unites have docked tails this is to allow for a closer knit formation as well as to make them a small target for the enemy and remove any chance of them being secured by their tails. Sometimes wolves owned by Lords and commanders will still have their tails, both as a sign of rank and also due to a lack of need to have them removed.

A small contingent of these riders have been assigned to the protection of the Duke of Krome, these riders are veteran riders who have served for more than 5 arcs and seen at least one scene of combat (be it Domestic or Foreign). This contingent is rarely seen and their identities secret as to avoid bribery or some form of switch between an assassin and a rider. These secretive and extremely skilled riders are truly the best in Krome. They can be told apart from a standard rider as their mounts are armoured in plate metal rather than leather and the riders wear golden cloaks, the colour of Krome.

His front operation in Low-Town, where his unluckiest chattel are housed, is a simple company that trades material commodities, providing leatherwork to various enterprises and for those who need leather products. The side-effect of running a leather-working facility and tannery, is that nobody important wants to visit in person unless they're happy with the scent of tanning animal skins.

Warrick Manor

Image
Warrick Manor is the estate and main home for much of the noble Warrick family. It's actually fairly small, as many of the Warricks have homes of their own. With a stone fence, this house is private and guarded to much of the public, kept for the discretion of the Warricks. It has three stories: six bedrooms, five bathrooms, six closets. It has a basement that has a few jail cells, where criminals are kept until they can face judgement, and an attic, and a spacious back yard. This esteemed state is the oldest building in Warrick, and has quite the long history. A small force of private guards are here because of the mutual location of the Warrick jail cells.

The house itself is built of stone, with plants growing over much of it. Some might say it looks overgrown, others claim it has character. Around back is a small stone-built stable for the Warrick horses, and a kennel for their dogs. There's also a small courtyard with a garden fountain that is often used for sparring practice.

Title: Duke of Warrick
Skills:
Leadership (65)
Blades (20)
Shield (15)
Other Information: Alston has lived a long and varied life. Born into the noble family of Warrick, he was one of three siblings. Unfortunately, he was the only one to reach adulthood, and ascended to Duke at the young age of nineteen. He's been a just leader of the region, and has done well to make life better for his people. He's loyal to the crown, and has never been very power hungry, instead enjoying what he has. He married Isabela Howard at the age of twenty eight, and has had four talented children- three sons and a daughter. To date, he has twelve grandchildren. Or rather, eleven, as one of them unfortunately died. Alston is letting himself grow into his old age, residing in Warrick Manor, and planning who will take over when he passes. He's of the belief that, regardless of succession, he should pick his heir out of who best deserves it and will be best to rule over Warrick. But of course, he also has to respect the laws of the crown in this regard.

Before then, she'd been a baker, and her fingers still hold the callouses of the hard work she did as a young woman. She's had a long, blessed life. In recent years, she spends much of her time socializing among the other nobles and trying to keep an eye on her children and grandchildren. In the past three seasons, however, she's been quite ill. It's rare she leaves her bed, these days, and it's feared she's not long for this world.

House Venora, Vassalage
Image

▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂

The House of Venora, one of the Great Houses in Rynmere, is a family that prides itself on its wealth, cultural enlightenment, beauty, artistry and grace. The Duchy of Venora thus hosts a variety of vassals that embody these traits, respective of their liege Lords, and beneath House Venora's patronage, these houses continue to expand the Duchy's wealth, industry, infrastructure, housing, military and political leverage, agriculture and otherwise.

Many of these houses have served House Venora since the days of Lady Cyrene, Queen of Rynmere, and have vowed under the Seven their eternal loyalty to the inheritors of the Realm, the primary line of House Venora.

House of Furdan
Leader: Baron Gregory Furdan
Loyalty: Very Loyal
House Flower: Primrose

House Furdan, of the Primrose, was one of House Venora's first vassal families, beginning their service to the Duchy in the Arc 284. From that time, they have been eternally loyal to the House of Venora, which has entrusted them with some of the Duchy's most wealthy and prosperous holdings along the coast. They are known for their beaches and their music, and are closely associated with the city of Lamonte, despite not actually holding the city themselves.

Recently, Baron Gregory Furdan inherited the family title, a man fiercely loyal to the Venoras -- particularly Alistair, who nursed his younger brother back to health from near-death in Arc 716.

House of Languedoc
Leader: Count Marlon Languedoc
Loyalty: Opportunistic
House Flower: Violet

House Languedoc, a powerful vassal to the House of Venora, was a family initially tasked with protecting the tomb of Nora, a great Venora ancestor and the first Queen and reigning monarch of Rynmere. As such, their founder was Knighted and set to this task in the Arc 303. Over time, their influence and territory has expanded within the Duchy, and the territories they occupy have since been called the County of Languedoc. They are known to be excellent Skyriders, as well as farmers and vintners. Typically, however, their culture is only loosely associated with the other noble houses of Venora, as they are a mountain people with a hearty culture.

House of Guillani
Leader: Baroness Alexandra Guillani
Loyalty: Opportunistic
House Flower: Dahlia

House Guillani is what one would consider a never-ending diplomatic disaster. Their loyalty to House Venora has flitted consistently upon becoming the lord protectors of the County of Guillani, all the way back in Arc 378. Since their incorporation as direct vassals to the Duchy, they have plotted the defamation, sabotage or murder of dozens of nobles from other families, particularly Desmond and Grayson. Due to their shameless acts across history, House Guillani lost their status as Counts and Countesses in the Arc of 564, and since then they have aimlessly attempted to curry favor with House Venora to regain their footing.

They are typically seen as a family of cuisine experts, their region fairly diverse with a variety of vineyards, grasslands, farmlands, coastal fishing areas, etc; much of the greatest recipes in Rynmere derive from the territory of House Guillani, and as such, they are respected despite their... erratic loyalties.

House of Grayson
Leader: Baron Winston Grayson
Loyalty: Loyal
House Flower: Lilac

House Grayson, a recently created family (Arc 638), is a dying noble house that has lost both of its heirs. Promoted to nobility for their loyal service to Venora, they have since struggled to maintain a fertile line, as the leaders of House Grayson tend to reflect the people their territory creates: they are poets, writers, and depressed ones at that. They often write some of the most pessimistic pieces and sonnets in Rynmere, though they are beloved by many for their view on the world.

Recently, both of their heirs died to unknown afflictions that seemed to spontaneously appear, and as one can imagine... the output of their grim poetry has increased several fold since these events. When Baron Winston passes, House Venora will reclaim direct hold of this territory from the Graysons, though with the amount of territory they already hold in the Duchy, they have expressed interest in offering the lands of House Grayson to the Furdans.

House of Solange
Leader: Countess Lyanna Solange
Loyalty: Very Loyal
House Flower: Orchid

House Solange, founded recently (Arc 641), is the youngest major vassal of House Venora, though ironically one of the wealthiest. Despite possessing little territory, House Solange hosts one of the highest populations of any of the vassal families, as their capital holding -- Masienne -- is a bustling city of industry and art, neighboring Sabaissant, the capital of the Duchy. The formation of House Solange and its promotion to nobility is very closely tied to a history of friendship between the founder of the house, Henry Solange, and the Duchess of Venora at the time, Lyanna (who the current Countess is named after).

These two individuals, becoming the greatest of friends throughout their life, founded an entirely new industry within the Duchy of Venora: one they called the "Empris du Modens," or, employable artistry. The ideas formulated between Henry Solange and Lyanna Venora forged an empire of fashion, and within a few arcs of the first dresses and pieces of men's attire, everyone in Rynmere was wearing Venora's fashion. Since then, House Solange has had a significant degree of management over Venora's silk and textile industry, and the County of Solange is known as one of the most lavish, wealthy and fashionable areas in Venora, and as such, in the entire world.

House of Angelreim
Leader: Count Nielsen I Angelreim
Loyalty: Loyal
House Flower: Peony

House Angelreim, of the Peony, originally began as a Venora branch known for their skill in orchestra, concert and large festivities. Founded in Arc 402, the family has since then retained its focus, though their Venora blood has since then muddled. Even so, they are considered cousins to the House of Venora, and are always respectably seated right beside the Venora barons, counts and dukes in large gatherings between the Duchy's nobles.

Recently, House Angelreim and House Solange formed a union of marriage, the two houses recommended for the ceremonial bond by Alistair of House Venora. Since this proposal, new developments have begun in the territory of Angelreim, and the Kingdom's first colossal concert hall has begun production in the capital holding.

House of Chalons
Leader: Count Damien de Chalons
Loyalty: Fairly Loyal
House Flower: Dandelion

House de Chalons, also known as the Splendid House de Chalons, is the most powerful vassal of House Venora, and the first vassal of the family, swearing fealty to Lady Cyrene Venora in Arc 203. As ordered by their mistress and liege, Lady Cyrene, they were given the task of watching over the Cyrene Bay - named after her - and ensuring Venora always received its fair amount of trade opportunities and wealth from overseas, and other Duchies alike. Since then, House de Chalons has been known as the trader and merchant house of Venora, moreso than the other families. They are one of the wealthiest houses in the Duchy, not only gaining wealth from incoming trade along the docks they've built on the bay, but from the many exports of House Venora and its vassals -- perfumes, wine, silks, textiles, food, instruments, art, and other luxury goods.

Currently, House de Chalons is ruled by a young Count, though a young man of great ambition, pride and prestige.

House of Nouvelle-Lamonte
Leader: Baroness Sanga de Nouvelle-Lamonte
Loyalty: Disloyal
House Flower: Myosotis alpestris

Nouvelle-Lamonte, often called "The House of Fallen Grace" by the people of Venora, is a family of Barons that are known for one thing alone: their attempted coup of House Venora in Arc 514, the only attempted coup of the ruling family in the history of Venora. Upon their catastrophic failure, they lost their holdings along the southern coast (the cities of Nouvelle and Lamonte), these lands being withheld from them by the House of Venora.

Since then, they have existed as a house disgraced, only allowed to continue to rule territory due to the marriage - at the time of their attempted coup - of the family's eldest daughter and the Duke of Venora. Now, Nouvelle-Lamonte faces being removed of all of their holdings, as they have allegedly been hiring bandits and assassins to hunt down the nobles of other families who have allegedly 'wronged them'.

They are known for their farming, and little else.

House of Vintagne
Leader: Count Nathaniel Vintagne
Loyalty: Loyal
House Flower: Hibiscus

House of Vintagne, named appropriately based on their common profession, is a house of vintners (or winemakers). Aside from central Venora, near Sabaissant, they have the most vineyards in the Duchy, quite literally miles upon miles of vineyards. It is said that nearly forty percent of all of the wine in Rynmere comes from Vintagne, with the remainder coming from the other lands of the Duchy of Venora. Not only does House Vintagne make a large amount of wine, but they also make exceptionally high quality wine, or at the very least trade high quality wine from central Venora to the city of Andaris. As a result of this trade, they are a very wealthy family, and one of the longest term vassals of Venora, being founded in Arc 389.

House of Desmond
Leader: Baron William Desmond
Loyalty: Very Loyal
House Flower: Tulip

House Desmond, a fairly small family, is a family of a bizarre history -- their house was founded by the legitimized bastard of Duke Wolsingham of Venora, in the Arc 542. Despite being a bastard, the founder of this family -- Quenton Desmond -- was beloved throughout the lands he walked, known for his great humor and his skill with words. Desmond is known as the production capital of the Duchy, as Quenton gained many trade and business alliances and deals in the course of his service to the Duke, his father.

Desmond now produces a massive variety of luxury goods, and channels them through Sabaissant, Lamonte, Chalons, Andaris and other areas. They are considered to be under the patronage of House Venora, and as such their goods are heavily taxed by their liege Lords, though they make a great deal of wealth regardless.

The current leader of the house, William Desmond, is a man of honor and character, and is the leader of the cavalry of Venora.

Chateau Languedoc

Image

The Chateau Languedoc, a fortress and agricultural center, is a fairly isolated castle to the far north of Venora, surrounded only by a sprawling military outpost. It is the largest base and hub of Venora's Moseke Knights, and one of the few bases in Venora to host Skyriders, as well as Knights and Skyriders from other bases around the Kingdom that would seek to stay here, whether for strategic reasons or in order to recuperate. Built on rich farmland and vineyards, the Chateau Languedoc is highly self-sufficient, providing a permanent and independent outpost for Venora's military, as well as a fortified place of rulership for the House of Languedoc.

The Chateau Languedoc is also known famously for one other thing: it hosts Venora's Kingdom-wide cuisine competition, on the 67th of Ashan, every single arc. Cooks from all around Idalos come to test their mettle here, the winner awarded the title of Rosepetal Cuisinier.

Marlon Languedoc

Image

Race: Human
Age: 32
Title: Lord of the Moseke Knights, Commander of the Chateau Languedoc
Skills: Blades: 80, Endurance: 70, Running: 60, Mount: 55, Leadership: 50, Animal Training: 30, Tactics: 30

Marlon Languedoc, Colonel of the Skyriders, is the Commander of Chateau Languedoc and one of House Venora's most prestigious individuals. Known for his charisma, idealism and rambunctious behavior, the Colonel has attained a unique reputation throughout Rynmere since his coming into prominence in the military. Marlon Languedoc has proposed to a total of 14 nobles since entering adulthood, a few of whom were of the male sex, despite such a thing being illegal for the nobility in Rynmere. He's typically seen as being silly, madly flirtatious, eccentric and unorthodox, and is - quite clearly - a radical reformist of Rynmere thinking. He has sponsored several events throughout Venora featuring ideas centered around liberty, such as philosophy lessons from men and women of Ne'haer who advocate strongly against slavery.

Despite his eccentricity, he is beloved by many, and several of the prominent members of House Venora have openly advocated for a dialogue surrounding his ideals. It is due to Marlon Languedoc that the Duchy of Venora is the most resistant to the legality of slavery, and according to rumor, the man has already begun to make his ideals a reality in the Kingdom - helping slaves free of their shackles by means of sneaking them through the Eastern Settlements, and into other lands. He continues to deny these claims.

Murdoch an Keene

Image
Murdoch an Keene, meaning "Crown in the Hills" in the Ancient Tongue, is the Rynmere headquarters of the Coven of Ellasin, and the second most populous and prominent Coven base between the four of them. Founded by Damien Noch atop one of the hills to the north of Sabaissant, the base is situated in Venora, largely due to the fact that Venora has a policy protecting spontaneous investigations of property that other Duchies do not have, or not to the same extent. The base hosts nearly a hundred individuals that live there either seasonally or year-long, divided into several dozen rooms with areas for learning, training, living, eating, growing and otherwise. There is also a large section of the base within the hill itself, and therefore by some standards "underground".

What Coven members know about Murdoch an Keene is that it hosts one of the great artifacts of the Coven, the Heart of Talesin, an artifact that can sense power from miles away - great or small, and attune to that power. Currently, the leader of the base is Damien Noch, who has been ruling Murdoch an Keene for nearly seven decades. This base is known to be the least 'creepy' of the Coven enclosures, as Damien himself is a fairly tolerant and benevolent individual, though one will - of course - find a wide array of demented and morbid individuals within the base.

Location NPCs

Note: Damien is an approved NPC of the Coven. As such, he does not need to be approved or reviewed again, he is simply the leader of the Coven base. If this area is put up into the locations, please remove this OOC note. Thank you!

In life, Damien was a follower and outspoken advocate of the Immortal Ymiden. Since the time of his youth, he had been known for many good things - his patience, practicality, and words of great wisdom. The only issue that underlined these notable qualities was his obsessive, fixating behavior. Even as he guided others through their ails and helped many to find peace, he could not stop himself from addictions of all kinds - addictions to sex, to alcohol, to gambling, even to the presence of danger. Midway through his life, a fixation was found that he could never quite move past. He had met the Lich Ellasin, who guided him into the path of Necromancy, a field he never managed to escape like his other limited addictions. With Ellasin's guidance, he became one of the most talented Necromancers in the known world, and before long he gained the knowledge of Lichdom from the Necromantress.

He was reluctant to surrender his life, but he recalled something that brought him to perspective. For all his life, Damien as a result of his addictions had known fear - he feared for his health, for his finances, for his life and the life of others close to him. Becoming an eternal being, one who did not need wealth to maintain freedom, one who was in and of himself a source of great power; this prospect was one of relaxation.

Of course, not long after indulging in the dark ritual and becoming a Lich, he had become changed by his transformation - indirectly by Ellasin, though she had rooted for his moral transformation. Not all Necromancers were evil, and Damien is evidence of that; he is a fairly ambivalent individual, and can often even be seen as benevolent. However, at the very least they are hungry for power, a gluttony augmented by the emergence of his newfound glory. Eternal life became not enough for Damien, who now sought power additionally; who came to look upon the mortal races as fledglings and sometimes, regrettably, as subjects. The power of Lichdom changed Damien forever, and his goals - which are known only to he and Alistair - require power amassed, and the climate of the Coven forever altered.

Note: Anyone in the coven of rank Sotrosei or above may utilize Damien for instruction or, with moderated approval, initiation.

Name: Sophia Krome
Created by: Xander Krome
Race: Mixed race (Biqaj and Human)
DOB: 2nd Ymiden Arc 659 (57 Arcs)
Title: Baroness
Skills: Deception- 60 (Expert), Logistics- 40 (Competent), Leadership- 50 (Expert), Seduction- 30 (Competent), Politics- 55 (Expert), Etiquette - 65 (Expert), Persuasion- 30 (Competent)
Other Information: Sophia Krome is the second child of the duke and duchess of Krome and currently First in line to take the over the Duchy. She was politically minded in her younger years but the older she has gotten the less interest she has had in increasing her power. She still does act in some ways to raise her status, for example the engagement she organised with Xander Krome and Celeste Andaris. She is obsessed with appearing rich and fabulous although in truth she often appears more tacky than stunning and noble like she wants. She was not the greatest mother to Xander Krome her first born child, however, she did her best when raising the rest of her children. She currently lives in The Northern Krome House and is the Baroness, she does her best to act like a rich and powerful woman but really she is much more fearful of her husband and acts often in weak ways doing little to stand up to the big man.
Name: Jersey Krome
Created by: Xander Krome
Race: Human
DOB: 50nd Ymiden Arc 656 (59 Arcs)
Title: Baron
Skills: Combat: Blades (long sword)- 65, Expert, Etiquette- 50, Expert, Negotiation- 30, Competent, Politics- 40, Competent, Strength- 55, Expert
Other Information: At a younger age Jersey Krome had been attractive and fit, now he is older he has lost that. Years of a life of luxury have made him overweight and dumb. He is no longer as sharp mentally or physically and has never been a good father, especially not to his first born son. He has an unhealthy view on slaves and servants as well as women, he does not hold them as his equals and treats them terribly. Once Jersey had seemed to be a great man and could have lead Krome into a great era, yet, with the rich life and lack of opportunity he has grown to be a foolish and unhealthy old man. He is the example of weak so it looks like power and money really can corrupt those weak of will.
Name: Zara Krome
Created by: Xander Krome
Race: Mixed race (Biqaj and Human)
DOB: Would be 18 Arcs (deceased at age 10 Born 18 Ymiden, Arc 699)
Title: Lady
Skills: N/A
Other Information: Once the young and beautiful daughter of Sophia and Jersey Krome, Zara was loved by her whole family. She was sweet and kind and cared for others more than herself, she would never hurt a fly and she was the most perfect person. She was the pinnacle of compassion and innocence, she was truly loved by Xander Krome and her death was extremely hard on all the family especially him. She died from a sickness she caught off of her Brother when she refused to leave him to get better by himself. Following trying her best to help him get better and succeeding she in the process got sick. The sickness was something she could not manage to overcome and sadly died, this catastrophe still haunts some of her family today and she is buried under a willow tree not far from the family home.
