Lakia ignored the struggle going on behind, though she did heed the shout about the numbers. She had known there would be more than one, mortals were not solitary creatures after all, but knowing exactly how many would be an advantage. She didn't respond, but continued until she was in the thicket she was aiming for. However, only one of the soldiers made it to the clearing and investigated his dead companion. She heard him yell in fury at the sight of his friends corpse...and she heard him yell in pain as she stood and loosed her arrow taking him squarely the in gut with the first shot. "Tch. Need to work on my aim. He has time to do more damage that way." she said, before nocking another arrow to her bow as the man turned, still yelling. He got to watch the second shot fly at him and take him in the chest. "Too high...no need for these wounds, especially for a predator." the hunter berated herself before she heard the cry of a bird and noise from the direction Delta had taken the woman.
Growling, Lakia turned and left the wounded soldier to pursue until his wounds killed him, though wasn't at all certain how long that would take. Nocking a third arrow to her bow, she raced for the source of the bird call. However, she didn't arrive nearly soon enough to prevent the third soldier from attacking the other two women. When she arrived she saw that one was pinned, and she couldn't tell who, though the other had been knocked to the side. She didn't dare risk injuring her only companion, and they needed the others Psinia knowledge, so she did something she very rarely did. She dropped her bow and went for a more physical approach.
She hadn't slowed her pace to drop her bow, and she hadn't dropped her arrow at all. She hit the man from the side and stabbed blindly at his gut with the arrow, hoping to pierce something vital. "Delta...now...would be...a good...time to...pitch in." she said, her voice strained with the unaccustomed physical nature of her struggle, a struggle she knew she would lose if she didn't get help from someone. And the last soldier was still alive somewhere...probably on his way.
