I want to throw in some ideas for your character creation. Just options

If your scholar has traveled outside Viden a bit in his past, you can get him involved in planned plots in Ivorian Arc 711, if he made a stop there. This opens for things ...

We will write a sequel to a previous memory plot there, with Sel'ma and Linika. Ivorian, then possibly something more 711/712 depending on the travel routes I haven't discussed one bit with Jeff yet. The detailed plotting will be done later. So, in case you want to give Gharis a stop in Ivorian 711 you are welcome to get him involved in the past too.

(You're welcome to cross Sel'ma's path at other occasions too of course, with this character or someone else).

Yeeessssss, come to Ivorian. Actually, that would be interesting on it's own, since both Augiery and Viden are from opposing factions to Ivorian. The Ithecal wouldn't turn anyone away unless they cause trouble, but there would be some tension...

It may be noteworthy that, though there can be a number of past confrontations, Linika is currently in Viden.
I expect she will be there for a while. It takes time to bring complete ruin to an entire people, culture and city.
