72th of Ashan, Arc 717
Dear Finn,
Thank you so much for your letter. I absolutely love receiving fan mail, and I’m glad that you liked my statue even though I disagree as far as the Immortals being ugly is concerned. The ones that I met were actually quite beautiful, but of course that doesn’t say anything about their personality. The people that made your schoolbooks probably used something called “artistic license” which pretty much means “do whatever you want”.
The stone I used is called basalt, and you are free to hit my statues any time you want. If somebody complains, show them this letter!
Anyway, the picture of your teacher is great! I used to draw quite similar pictures when I was younger. In fact I still do sometimes – and then I sell them for a few hundred nels!
Who knows, maybe you’ll be just as famous as I am one trial?
As for ohditions (I like that word much better than “auditions”!), that’s when you talk to an important person at the theatre and try to convince them that you’d be the best fit for a role. I have auditions all the time because I write plays all the time, so feel free to come to Rynmere sometimes. You can even bring Mr. Ynush even though he’s ugly and probably smells like a turd!
I’m the Duke of Oakleigh now, and I have a really big house with lots of rooms and lots of toilets that you don’t have to clean because I have servants for that kind of stuff. You can just visit me there!
Yours,
Tristan
