Tristan recently became Duke of Oakleigh, and King Cassander told him to appoint Barons until he has heirs of his own. I thought that I’d post here and see if anybody’s interested in such a job before I just appoint a couple of NPCs.
To become a Baron, you should get along well with Tristan or at least be able to convince him that you’d be perfect for the job even though he doesn’t find you very likeable. Experience in politics and/or diplomacy would be a plus, it isn’t absolutely necessary though. I mean, Tristan is an artist who knows absolutely nothing about politics, and look where he’s now!
It would also be nice if you had ties to the Eastern Settlement because that might make Oakleigh less inclined to rebel, but again, it isn't absolutely necessary. I want to create opportunities for PCs above everything else.
If you don’t want to get involved in politics, I’m also looking for somebody to play Tristan’s sisters! And if you don’t want to be a Venora or a Baron in Oakleigh, but still want to write with me, I’m more than willing to discuss it!
