  Notes: When I first started reading the thread, I didn't realize you were using "they" and opting out of gender-specific pronouns. It took me a minute to realize that there wasn't, in fact, someone else with your PC, but that just goes to show how conditioned I've been in how I read literature. After a paragraph or two, I settled in just fine and didn't have a problem. Seeing how Amaris thinks and works through her next action made her a very believable character and you have a simplicity (I mean this in a good way) and unique approach, that is refreshing to read.
