In response to your PM, which also concerns Mal and Neronin, I will answer it here.

I'm afraid they are both going to be viewed as enemies by Vuda.

And while the both of them being dragged in and subjected to hostile experimentation would not be that far removed from Vuda's intentions, he can get his own NPC mages to give blood for perks too easily instead.
I think it is more likely that he would simply have them alchemically killed. Especially if he thought they were somehow actually learning any alchemy from the ordeal.

This is not to say I forbid it. But it will have to be handled delicately. Vuda is not going to imprison you in the lab. You will have free time, where you could pursue this. But you would have to be REAL careful about using Vuda's equipment and work space to benefit his enemies. Acquiring both gear and space of your own would help. But you'd need to do it without his knowing.

It is worth noting that there are highly-placed figures who greatly dislike him.
Perhaps they could be persuaded to help...

For one last possible clarification. The "rules" I cited, including needing a reason to have been there, only apply to mutating your own PC. You are completely free to create horrific mutant monsters to deal with in your threads.

Now I don't mean to go overboard on population. This is very much an extreme minority of citizens that were so afflicted. it is not that Etzos is being "overrun" with mutants...sorry
