Let The Next Issue be Raised!
We should have a natural disaster of some kind. I'm not sure exactly what kind of natural disaster should take place in Etzos. But it might be a fun idea at some point. Maybe a tornado or a hurricane. It could certainly get in the way of any war preparations, but it could also be a good stall if it started to effect the other side. Just thought it might be a fun idea to see everyone running and screaming for cover~!

The "Treid's Heart"
Global Event
Global Event
You have by now seen the news of the global event. You have by now also noted the sign up sheet requiring mention of threads where you have faced the dread shadow minions of the combined malice of Aelig, Lisirra and Syroa.
I see that some of you have already signed up there. Those who have taken part in the Underground Race Event thread may use it as the qualifying thread (assuming that you didn't spend all your posts running in 'soiled-trousered' fear). This is because the Mist Men you are dealing with ARE these same shadow creatures.
Etzos was merely a trial run by the three Immortals to be sure that their combined powers would achieve the desired result. I say they deserve hand for a job well done...
Those who choose to capitalize on this opportunity should respond here; and at this late date, should consider the "Run For Your Life" thread closed.
Those who don't think they can quite manage to squeeze in a worthy thread to deal with Mist Men, can always be caught up in the war effort against Rhakros. Marlin Tagley at The Guidance Office will be more than happy to sign up volunteers to go south and bring retribution to the Witch's City. There should be plenty of Death, Destruction and Loot to be had.

Just in case it makes it easier to track down. This will bring you to the actual global thread for the Etzos area.

Dearest Citizens of Etzos
The Time has Come
Welcome to the Cylus Etzos Open Thread!
Anyone is free to join the thread at any point in time. My post will be the mark of a new round. Usually it will be two or three days between my posts depending on how many people we have join and if everyone makes their post before the days have passed. If you fail to post then you will be skipped for the round, you are perfectly fine jumping back in next round. There is no posting order. The date for the thread will be decided at the end of the season as to not interfere with any events going on, you can expect to to be somewhere close to the end though. The Time has Come
Welcome to the Cylus Etzos Open Thread!
The thread can be found Here. Please come join us!

Good question.
The siege ends at about the same time the fight in Oscillus does.
So the only 'war" is some skirmishes between Etzos troops pulling back and Rhakros troops either pursuing, or also pulling back the other way.
There was a big scare last cycle about a possible affliction sent north as retaliation by Rhakros.
It does not develop into anything other than a scare, but folks are on edge.
Anyone that wants to base their PCs in one of these wilderness towns may feel free and have all the run-ins they want with beasts and monsters, criminals on the lam from Nightshade's open thread, spies or saboteurs from Rhakros (even when they are not spreading diseases they are spying and hindering Etzos' progress in any way they can.
Jobs will be available to anyone in one or more of these villages. Right now, jobs like stone masons, carpenters, farmers hunters and smiths would be a premium. Mages are always going to be a help, but folks may just think a mage is a runaway serial killer from Etzos; especially if he is an eidisi...
Otherwise, consider them scenery for your journeys. Small, walled towns, populated by sparse groups of tough, pioneer-minded individuals that don't take too kindly to strangers and passers-through.

Hi hello howdy salutations and all that jazz, (whew what a mouthful)
Anyways. Hello Symbri here.
So! I'm back. TLDR of things is I finally conquered some things in life that were making writing and, well, anything not fun for me! So anyways I'm going to be staying in Etzos for some time. Just wanted to say hello and that I'm looking forward to writing CONSISTENTLY with all of you. Though that's more or less something I'll have to prove.
Anywho! Sym will be taking the role of a courier for now and will probably be getting herself into trouble I look forward to seeing how it all pans out. I'm devoting this first couple weeks of my return to finishing up old threads but Feel free to pm me for threads.

Hey guys, sorry I've been kind of away and aloof. I've been tackling some mammoth school work and had to put ST in drawer 2 for a bit. But I'd like to increase activity so I'll be around!
