[Rynmere] Whispers Around the Kingdom

No Secret is Safe
The Kingdom of Rynmere isn't small by any stretch of the imagination, nor is is particularly insular, in that it sees a lot of traffic coming through from other regions, cities and communities across Idalos and the surrounding isles. For this reason, the kingdom never truly grows stagnant, and it remains in a constant state of flux as it has to adjust to the ever-changing demographics. However the vast majority of citizens, much like that of cites across the world, will be born, live and die in Rynmere. In some cases, these people are known by everyone, as the nobility, especially, are very public figures. When people live in such close proximity, secrets often don't say secrets for long, and you can even find out things about yourself that you didn't even know.
The OOC:
Okay so basically what is going to happen is this: every so often, a Prophet of Rynmere is going to post a small solo in this thread between two or more people gossiping. There will be a date and a location assigned, of course. What you then need to do is pick the one you want (you can choose as many or as few as you want). Then you gander off and stick my dialogue into a thread of yours. To make it more interesting, try to make the thread about something else, and the rumour is secondary. You may make it like Chinese Whispers where you mishear the information and start spreading your own. If you would like to know more about the rumour, PM me and I can give you more information (either through PM or entering into your thread).
These rumours can take all shapes and sizes: they may be something minor about an NPC (or even PC! o.O), they may have bigger repercussions on the city, they may even be about the wider world. When news comes in about insurgency in another region, those rumours will be spread through Rynmere too. A few rumours may have a Prophet's Note at the bottom which might limit who can overhear it. Keep an eye out for that.
If you spread your own gossip in threads, you may be contacted asking if the information can be shared in here. Alternatively, you may contact a local Prophet to have said rumour posted in here too! Obviously this is entirely up to you and you are under no obligation to have your own rumour offered out to the whole Rynmere playerbase. But you might find it fun, especially if something minor happens in a thread and, through the rumour mill, it is blown out of proportion... until, next thing you know, you are getting death threats left, right and centre for something you never did!
And remember: some rumours, as in real life... might not be real!
