The Merchants' Guild

The City Council of Scalvoris founded the Merchants' Guild as one of its first acts. It was important, after all, that the island become fiscally sound and that trade really starts to flourish.

Therefore, the Merchants Guild has grown exponentially over the short time it has been in existence. Nestled in a small patch of land in Almund, the headquarters to the Guild is a rather pleasant house, providing rooms for guild members. It is luxurious, well furnished and always busy. Entry to the Merchants' Guild is mandatory for all business owners in Scalvoris and there are smaller offices in Scalvoris Town for those who wish to register there.

Those who are not in the Merchants Guild are not permitted entry to this building, even those seeking registration are redirected to the Council Halls. None of the wealth and privilege behind the closed doors is shown; that sort of luxury is kept, very much, for members only.

Once one has joined, however, there are rumours that the benefits are far beyond those advertised.

	In this thread Max and Merces found that the Merchants Guild has links with the Kennels in Almund. They also found that the Merchants' Guild is very well connected throughout Scalvoris and will seek retribution to anyone who wrongs them.
