Scalvoris Council Halls

The City Council of Scalvoris can be found in the Scalvoris Council Halls. The word Halls is correctly in the plural as there are a number of buildings, spanning across a small bridge spanning the river which winds through the middle of Almund. They couldn't find a building large enough to house all of the council members and so there are a group of six, each one housing one of them. Of course, there are thirteen council members, but the Devout resides on Immortals' Tongue and no one dares argue with her, so it works out well.

The buildings are strangely mismatched, yet very similar and there are messengers running one to the other for most of the trial and into the night. Usually, any one of the Scalvoris Town Council Members can be found here, with the exception of the Devout. Each building has a reception area and there are times when appointments must be made.

This is the beating heart of Scalvoris. This is where all the decisions are made which affect the island. Citizens from across the island are welcome and, as a new council the members are keen to make sure that they are seen to be meeting the needs of the people.
