There was never any forethought by Alexa when she ran away from home. No time to collect all her sentimental, favorite possessions from where she'd hidden them beneath a loose floor board near her bed. No moment to say goodbye to her childhood friends and neighbors that were practically her extended family. Instead she fled her home with blood dried upon her hands and the taste of hot iron in her mouth. Whatever was already in the gear she pre-packed for her short hunting excursion that day was slung onto her back and the family pull wagon hijacked last minute in her departure. From that point onward it seemed as though the running never stopped for Alexa. For what she'd done she could see herself as naught but an animal. And like any dangerous animal, it was to be warded off and kept far from the good people of Rynmere and condemned to the wilderness that always felt like home.

Any human contact was fleeting and never ever-lasting. Her only companion since she left Burhan was the one gifted to her by Karem when she was marked, a black wolf named Tala with bright blue eyes. It was with the loyal canine that she presently navigated the south-west Krome lands with. Among all the things Alexa regretted not stocking up on before she left her family home, it was more food. Hunger had become the state of normalcy for the girl now. It greeted her when she awoke, tormented her when she wished only for sleep. It was hunger that thinned her body and continued to slow her still as her tired arms tried in vain to tug the pull wagon hopelessly behind her in the snow. Alexa was far from any discernible form of shelter as far as her eyes could see. Light was fading. The blistering wind managed to cut through her furs and chill her skin, sending her body into a violent rattle that even managed to chatter her teeth.

"See if there's anything ahead," Alexa suggested to her wolf companion, who swiftly set forth to brave the weather with a care-free trot through the snow. It wasn't long before the incoming nightfall swallowed Tala whole. The girl turned on her heels and grit her teeth, digging into step firmly into the snow as she dragged the wagon with her back to what laid ahead. "You saw me survive the great cat, Karem. Don't see me fall to a little cold air," the Burhan girl pleaded to the immortal as she felt her strength truly beginning to drain. Alexa cast her golden-hued eyes up toward the rattling tree branches above as though one of the Sacred Seven might swoop down and change her impending fate. Yet at the same time there was a part of her, some tiny voice inside that willed the world to swallow her up and dish out a cruel end that she believed she deserved; to see through a justice served that Alexa had evaded for far too long.

"We're not alone," Tala conveyed tensely back to her somewhere just out of sight. The shock of the wolf's revelation rocked Alexa back to her current reality. She turned back to face forward with her odd, golden eyes glancing about her world with caution. Her feet froze and her jaw slacked to reveal the elongated canine fangs Karem had bestowed upon her. She could not innately sense any prey around, and even if she had she doubted such a presence would've shaken her wolf companion in the way Tala was now. "Where is it? What is it?" Alexa murmured with a bit of apprehension in her voice. Silence persisted for several trills. "I don't know, but it's close. They're close." Without a second thought Alexa's right hand began to slip toward the hand-axe that was tucked in her belt. Although she had Tala already returning to her side, an undoubted fear entered her mind that she herself was too weak for that advantage to matter.

If he could go a day without seeing a soul in his Forest he would, and yet again he found another individual walking upon the ground; his ground. Aomaru sat alongside Skyard atop a rather thick Tree branch off in the distance approximately seven meters away from his prey, but he could not determine a gender quite yet until she spoke aloud. A young woman found herself in his home, and with each and every step that she took his level of anger increased. She left her footprints on his pathways, and had the audacity to lay eyes upon his Trees, and breathe in his air. Skyard carried only three arrows today tucked into his Loin-cloth fashioned from nothing more than animal hide.

“They run from us.. Only to find us sooner” He voiced himself aloud as he grasped hold of the draw-string on his bow, and his index and middle finger loaded the arrows notch onto the string. With his fingers clenched tightly, he brought the ball of his wrist toward his visage, and took aim while his fingertips rested against his cheek.

“The Hunt, Begins!” He spoke again, and The Baboon sprang into action only to dart through the large amount of brush in mere seconds. The words could be understood if one listened carefully, but they sounded incredibly demonic; Psychological warfare was afoot, and Skyard intended to make them flee to his hearts content. Yet, he had always found women to be more useful alive than dead; perhaps her scalp would look beautiful mounted to the walls of his cave.

The Baboon quickly found himself in-front of both the Canine, and The Woman only to violently pound it's chest. Followed by which it stomped the ground, and dug it's fingertips into the soil only to throw it full speed toward her face. Skyard prepared to shoot off in the distance, and think about the things that he could use her for. However for the moment all he wanted to do was loose the arrow into her head so that he could cook her alive and enjoy a delicious meal.

Yet, in the back of his mind he knew that if he simply killed her and tore her asunder he would lack entertainment for an extended period of time. Little did she know very few if any people chose to travel this particular path due to the fact that many Demonized the area because of him. She was gorgeous, and the closer that she got the more attractive he realized that she was. Despite the fact that in the past he was known to have been a merciless killer; he could not bring himself to fire the arrow. The Savage simply put his bow to rest, and began to climb down the Tree slowly but steadily. His arms and legs coiled around the Tree, and splintered his flesh as he slid down.

The moment he reached the ground he searched for a rock beneath the brush. While rocks were heavy, and strong all he needed was one big enough to knock her unconscious. If the rock were too big it wold simply kill her the moment it hit her. He found several sizable pebbles, and began to throw them at several of the Trees nearby her location. One of them happened to strike the Tree a mere footsteps distance away from where she stood with such force that it caused bark to fly off of the Tree. His opposite hand however found a slightly larger rock; one that he would put to use in due time.

It would seem nothing in her life would move any slower than with light-speed. One trill she was contemplating the embrace of a cold, numbing end and the next the quiet world about her had exploded into action. The voice that echoed about the forest was more than enough to send a shiver down the spine of the already fearful woman. The sound the being emanated was other-worldly, as was the creature that sprang forth following its call.

The hair on Tala's back stood firmly on end. The wolf's ears were pinned back against the sides of her skull, head lowered, and teeth fiercely bared toward the sound of crashing brush. The creature that presented itself to mixed blood and canine was like nothing Alexa had ever seen before. It was a muscled mass of a creature with a red and blue painted face that deeply contrasted its dark fur. The fangs it exposed were more menacing than either Alexa's or Tala's, and its intimidating tactics proved to be profound in its display of stomping and belligerent chest-pounding.

"What is that?" Alexa asked dumbly with her hand-axe at the ready, eyes fixated on the animal. She hardly had time to duck when the soil was sent through the air toward her face. A vicious snarl erupted from Tala's throat rather than any comprehensive reply at first. "Stay here!" her wolf companion commanded before she surged forth after the creature, presumably to encourage its retreat from the scene. Alexa used the back of her hand to smear away some of the dirt the animal successfully managed to toss into her face. With no realistic chance at following the wolf, she could do little but stand there and nervously contemplate whether or not the disturbing calls from before had originated from the animal with the blue and red face. Of course that was mere breaths before the next thrill started.

The sound of woody impact reached Alexa's ears, sending the woman's head on a swivel in search of its origin. She clutched her hand-axe and steadied herself. "Whoever you are, come out!" It seemed every time she turned her head away a new sound would come from the last place her eyes glanced over. The only reply she received was from the cold wind. Explore the cold woods and she'd walk into a potential trap at worst, or have her wagon stolen at best. Until Tala returned, Alexa deduced that her best course of action was simply remaining in place to protect what very few resources she boast.
She dropped the handle of the pull wagon and planted herself firmly in place, making a greater effort to project her voice and veil evident nerves. "Come out before I put this axe in your face!" It might've sounded far more convincing had the cold not shaken her voice with the shiver that rocked her body.

"Tala?" she tried to communicate to her wolf in silence. Yet after a few moments not even she offered response. She was alone. Alone with something or someone. And she had a feeling things were only about to get far worse.

The Woman seemed to remain unshaken by the threat of the Monkey, and far more bewildered than fearful. However her next choice of words were what truly excited him; she was obviously a fighter, and Aomaru would get his fair share of entertainment as well. The Mandrill was quite intellectual, and could quickly assess a threat; he knew that he did not have to run away from the Canine that bore fangs at it. Aomaru did nothing more than allow a grin to sweep his facial expression, and from ear to ear the primates canines that were approximately 4 inches in length were unveiled further.

Skyard knew before hand what the facial expression meant; majority of people would mistake it as a kind gesture. However, the creatures true intentions were simply to kill anything that approached, and the smile was simply a method of telling any other animal that he too was a threat. The Savage was incredibly excited to see the battle between animal companions unfold. Yet, the moment she demanded him to come out he would do just the opposite of that.

Aomaru pounced and dove atop of the wolf, and easily overpowered the Canine with a single bite to the forearm. The Monster met the young ladies demands, but rather than approach her in the way that she wished he threw the large rock with such force that it rocketed toward the side of her cranial structure. She offended him multiple times and she did not even realize how much danger she was truly in. Little would she realize that he spared her life, and under normal circumstances he would have decapitated her, and severed her limbs without hesitation. Prey was prey, and if he needed to kill her and make a meal out of her he would.

If she fell to the projectile he would keep things simple and harmless. She would be slung over his shoulder and carried off to his cave along with her beast. They were nothing in comparison to his beautiful, and yet so mighty Mandrill. Aomaru was quite the reckless individual when he needed to be, and before he would release his jaws vice grip upon the Canines muscles he locked eyes with Skyard.

Skyard simply nodded and in an instant he loosed his jaws, only to let the Wolf go; had Skyard not been there the wolf might've been killed and eaten. However, since The Savage was in a cheerful mood today their lives were both spared simultaneously. The Woman was obviously very skilled with her usage of the melee weapon that he knew nothing about. What was the silver material in her weapon; it was much like what he saw on that band of knights prior to him massacring them.

Alexa had never wielded her weapon against another person before. Creatures of the forest, yes, but the edge of the hand-axe was traditionally reserved for biting into flesh of a woodier variety. Before the events that had unfolded in Burhan she never would've dreamed she was capable of true, monstrous violence at all. So much had changed so suddenly. Yet Karem believed her to be a survivor, and it was that notion the girl clung to fiercely where she stood before an unknown danger. Her grip around the handle of her weapon was knuckle-white. The pounding of her heart in her chest and the adrenaline filling her veins fueled what focus her tired, hungry body could support. Her tongue lashed out to lick her lips. Then she heard the gut-wrenching sound.

A sharp, ear-piercing yelp erupted from somewhere in the nearby brush. Alexa had never heard her companion's call of agony, but there was no doubt in her mind it belonged to her wolf. Her attention was foolishly diverted from the more immediate danger she could not see in favor of casting her eyes in the direction of the cries. "Tala!" There was no masking the alarm and panic in her voice, and no sooner had she yelled her wolf's name did something strike the side of her head. Pain became her immediate master. Then, somewhere on her way down toward the ground, darkness swallowed her whole.

Perhaps Tala sensed the smell of blood that must've emanated from the side of Alexa's head, or maybe it was purely the vice-like grip of the primate's jaws in her flesh that stirred her mad. Jaws snapped. Paws raked at the snow in an attempt to turn the tide despite the red soaking her own black pelt. A final whine of unwilling defeat erupted from the wolf before it vanished with the loosening of Aomaru's fangs like a ghost with no trace. Tala was gone to lick her wounds in the form the eyes of others could not see, no doubt waiting begrudgingly in the shadows for the right moment to strike in the future.

Skyard might've been amused to find the unconscious girl much like putty in his hands. Like a sack of flour, the man would have little trouble slinging her thinned frame over his shoulder and toting her through his snowy woods. His true aim had knocked her solidly out and thus his captive offered no resistance when he carried her into the depths of his cave. Such a state would persist for some time after he settled her against the back wall of his rocky dwelling. It must've been at least a half break before she came to again.

"Seven be damned!" Alexa exclaimed and impulsively attempted to jerk her body away only to be hindered by the rock wall at her back. Her freshly opened, golden eyes were wide and concentrated on the far-too-close primate in her face. Her hands had jumped defensively before her, and it was then that the girl realized the novelty of being held captive without being bound. The stare of the creature before her was as unwavering as it was unnerving. "Ow, dammit." Alexa dabbed the heel of her palm against the side of her head to discover the patch of nearly-dried blood in her hair.

The recent events of the evening returned to her all at once. She flashed her own fangs at the ape and strained to look around him. Something else had taken her after striking her down, and it was surely that something else that had constructed the modest cave dwelling she was trapped in now. Her golden eyes spied the light spatter of blood around the ape's mouth and her expression immediately darkened. "Tala!" Little did she know her cries were all in vain.

She had finally awoken, and found Aomaru uncomfortably close as he watched over her; he was tasked to do so by Skyard. Blood still stained his lips and partially his large canine teeth; She began to cry out to the wind and if she paid attention she would notice that all the sound simply remained within the Cave. The Savage was off elsewhere, and he hunted in peace; nothing could possibly be more thrilling than stalking prey before slaughtering it. He had laid eyes upon his next meal long ago, and today his choice was simple; a somewhat large brown Wolf that decided to prowl the area as if the territory belonged to it.

With a small pouch filled with rocks the hunt began, and Skyard simply took out two sizable pebbles only to slam them together repeatedly and attract attention to himself. The Wolf quickly locked eyes with the far more slender target, and began to charge. The Feral Child had such a small window of time to react that he instinctively threw both rocks toward the Canine simultaneously. The first of the two slammed against it's snout and provided a distraction to the beast. If he were caught the Animal would tear him limb from limb; the Forest was always a harsh place filled with bandits, Predators and prey alike.

In Life the deranged Sev'ryn believed in only a single principle; either one is an apex predator, or they will forever be prey forced to flee at the sight of a threat. Skyard refused to live the lifestyle of a coward, and knew that he had a reputation to uphold. If he were not present to guard the Forest those damned civilized cowards would hack away his beautiful Trees in an instant for building their homes. The Savage would sooner die than allow the Forest to be subjected to such a disgusting fate, and quickly snapped back into the reality that he faced a massive beast.

“Your battle is finished.” He spoke in a soft tone; which to anyone else would sound like a series of growls and screeches in combination with jumbled words. He drew a small sharpened stick hardly thicker than one of his several arrows formed from nothing more than a pointed rock jammed tightly into sturdy wood. The Beast appeared to be stunned at first by the blow, and immediately recovered as Skyard approached it with the object only to lash out with a vicious attack.

He did not feel it for several moments that came to pass when he managed to use all of his strength and shove the spiked stick into the Beasts windpipe. Shortly after he heard the sound of bones as they cracked the creature had gone limp. A slight whimper was released from its mouth, and he slung the dead creature over his shoulder and drug the creature as it still bled to his cave dwelling. With a fresh wound; a large gash across his chest his blood mixed with that of the dead Canines.

When he arrived he found the girl still there, and she did not even attempt to resist Aomaru much to his surprise. The malnourished and slender feral man dropped the corpse in front of her, and pointed his index finger at it. He did have enough respect for her to carry her weapon to his cave as well; so that she could make herself somewhat useful. He left again, and returned shortly with a handful of nuts that fell from several of the Trees as well.

“Eat... ...W-o..man.” He spoke slowly, and hoped that she would be somewhat capable of understanding his speech despite the fact that his voice was so heavily distorted.

Her hand wandered down toward her belt while she searched for her wits, surprised to find her fingers greeted by the hand-axe still tucked in place. She immediately withdrew the weapon and clutched it in her right hand. Her feet kicked at the dirt of the cave floor a few times before they found purchase, and with the help of her back pressed firmly to the wall, the girl managed to rise into a crouch. Alexa raised the axe and let it linger there to execute a strike if the monkey dared advance. The Burhan girl was quite literally backed into a corner. A dark, dirty corner with a new creature she was only beginning to understand. Its companion was still nothing more in her mind than a shadow, a faceless threat that made the very thought of him all the more ominous. How long would she have left before it returned? Did she even have the strength left to fight it when it did come back?

She heard the foot steps before she saw anything else. Then it came. Its shadow as it emerged within the cave cast a shadow somehow darker than the night that shrouded the world in blackness already. It was a massive being with thick shoulders and taller from what her strained eyes could tell. It lumbered forth toward her with a purpose that shook her. Such a presence it was that the ape was forgotten in its favor, her body turning in place to direct her aim at the being as he approached. Suddenly its upper body parted from the rest of itself to crash upon the earth before her. Actually, it wasn't a part of the being at all. The reality was more horrifying than previously conceivable. A knot tied in her middle and her heart hammered like mad in her rib cage. A wolf, its pelt covered in blood, had been presented at her feet. If she could've scampered further back within the dwelling to recoil from the carcass she would have. Instead she was forced to stare at it, jaws unhinged, and tears welling in her eyes.

"Tala?" her mind silently called down toward the creature. Yet the longer she stared at the carnage, the sooner she realized it was not her beloved companion at all. It was a regular wolf from the forest with a slightly lighter pelt than the wolf from Karem's pack. Somehow, that gave her little comfort. Alexa swallowed hard before her golden eyes looked up toward the true figure of the being. He turned away from her just as soon as he had arrived, and it was with his sudden movement that she flinched involuntarily behind his back. Then he returned and stopped before her. The odd, mangled tone of his deep voice made made her heart skip. Understanding whatever he was trying to communicate with her was impossible, especially in her state of terror. It was the outstretch of his hands cupping a pile of nuts that she seemed to gain a semblance of his intention.

Alexa licked her lips and her stomach growled. Slowly, she reached her free hand out to take the nuts from his grasp. Her spirit willed her to turn defiant and hurl the offering back into his face. Her stomach gave other demands she simply could not ignore. The Burhan girl shoved the food into her mouth all at once and slumped back against the cave wall. She swallowed, and it was only then that she truly grasped how dire her own malnutrition was. Apparently she wasn't the only one either. Alexa's golden eyes gazed up finally at the man who knocked her out bloodily, shoved her in his dwelling to remain at the whim of his monkey, and both insulted her with the wolf at her feet and tended to her with food she so desperately needed.

The question that entered her mind was far too cliche, and yet one that commanded an answer. The girl kept the axe firmly in her grasp and attempted to settle her body and mind. She took a breath. Her jaw tightened along with her golden eyes. Then she fixated her gaze firmly on the savage man standing there in legendary enigma. "Who are you?" After the first vocalization it was like word vomit. Her free hand clenched into a fist. Her voice grew in volume and turned from cautious to angry. "Where is my wolf? Why are you keeping me here?"

The moment he offered her food The Savage noticed that she was hesitant at first, but she took his offer and devoured them immediately. His head tilted to the side, and his eyes explored each and every one of her features; some appeared to be delicate and soft while others appeared fierce and strong. Her eyebrows notably were incredible; he was confused by them at first, but decided to pay attention to her arms. Her arms were obviously muscular, and he could only logically think that the reason for such strong biceps and triceps was due to the type of weapon she wielded. She became angry, and he could clearly hear the emotion in her voice however she spoke quite a bit faster with the second series of questions she asked.

She was kept here because of the fact that she was a woman, and belonged to him due to the fact that she intruded his territory. Obviously she did not understand him, and he made an attempt to communicate with her in a much more simple fashion. “Me..” The Savage pointed at himself with an extension of his thumb toward his exposed sternum that still bled. “Sky.” When it came to long phrases he became incredibly difficult to understand, but with simple words like those they were clear and concise. As for her second series of questions he wanted to answer her again but would have a hard time.

“You... Bandit... Woman.. In.. Sky.. Home.” With each and every word he made a hand gesture just encase she had trouble with his words. “Me...Kill.. Most, but.. spare.. You.. look like... beauty.” He spoke again, and knelt down toward the carcass of the large Wolf. The only thing that kept him from being totally nude was a loin-cloth fashioned from animal hide. He pulled out a rather sharp rock from the cave floor. After multiple attempts he finally stabbed through the Canines hide, and began to strip the hide from the flesh although he was hardly capable. He was obviously not physically strong, and if she paid close enough attention she would be able to tell how small he truly is.

“You... Wolf.. Vanish. Aomaru Bite it.... disappear.” He spoke again as he continued to make several failed attempts to slice along the spinal cord of the Wolf to part its flesh. The Savage was bewildered at the weapon she wielded; it was the same material as the skin of those five men that he slaughtered so long ago. Perhaps it had better capability than his sharpened rock, but he would not bother to ask her to help. However, if she wanted a cut of the meat she would have to assist him, but he did not want her to be too uncomfortable in the space.

“Outside... You... Belongings. Bring them inside...” He spoke to her slowly, but steadily again and never took his eyes off of the Wolf he had such difficulty cutting through. Although he was indeed a Savage, and a Kidnapper he did not kill without reason to do so. Not to mention she was the first woman that he ever held captive; he was not experienced at holding a prisoner.

“Run, you Die.”
He spoke again a final time and knew she would be able to understand him a bit more easily now..

Something the Burhan girl could only assume were attempts at coherent words began to spill out of the man's mouth again. If his whole appearance in itself were not enough to grant him the label of a savage, the brutal butchery of sound that exited his lips certainly did when added to the mix. The only thing additive that could've conceivable made her dire situation worse was to be held captive by a man who either refused or couldn't comprehensively communicate to her. History had certainly made it appear as though that was her twisted new reality. This time, however, she was not left without context to give meaning to what was being expressed. The gesture of his hands that accompanied each of his "words" did most of the heavy-lifting in the surprisingly difficult endeavor of simple conversation.

Sky, the Burhan girl conceptualized in her head as she listened to the harsh sound and watched his thumb jerk back toward his mutilated chest. Your name is Sky. An introduction was a start. Putting a name to the man who beat her with something sturdy over the head didn't lower the hand-axe firmly held in her hand. However, her brow pinched with concentration as she worked to make out the rest of his message. Bandit. Woman. Sky. Home. The main words of his poor sentence were the ones of greatest importance. Her assured stance seemed to waver a bit. Did he attack me because he thinks I'm a bandit here to raid his home? The notion mattered little when the next string of words and gestures came along. Something tightened in her middle. Most girls back home would've melted at the compliment of their beauty, especially the ones crueler men joked belonged hidden in Burhan's thick forests. In this moment Alexa only felt the sentiment add to her unease.

Just as soon as she seemed to hold his attention she lost it. The man went back to his primitive tending of the dead animal between them, evidently unfazed by the hand-axe still hovering at the ready to fall upon his head. Something in her nature thought to lean forward to help the man in his task. Stubbornness and disdain for both the man and his choice of kill kept her firmly rooted in place. Talk of Tala lowered her weapon a bit. "Disappear?" Her voice almost dared to be hopeful. The last sound she'd heard before she was knocked out was the sound of her wolf's cries. Perhaps the man meant her companion had not perished at the hands of his beast after all. She blinked at the man as he mentioned her things and directed her gaze toward the outside of the long cave. He's going to let me leave...just like that? Alexa didn't dare fully drop the arm wielding the axe. Her instinct to take advantage of his kindness and run despite his ominous warning was strong. Yet his complete lack of worry for her leaving the confines of his home was more telling. The reasoning, she assumed, was simple: Sky knew this forest better than she did.

Alexa slowly passed by the man while he continued his bloody work and navigated to the outside of the cave. Just as the man promised her wagon of possessions was waiting patiently for her. She from and lifted the handle and tugged it into the warmth of the dwelling to sit at the far wall. "Your animal...Aomaru, is it? I've never seen his kind before. Where did you find him?" Her awkwardness must've been palpable. Keeping her voice even took most of her concentration. Every twitch of his arm, snapping of his gaze, and movement of the ape was enough to send her straight into a mental state of alarm. There was no denying it. There was no fighting it. All there was left for her to do was hide it: she was afraid. If not for the biological fear-response that kept her so very much in the present, the girl suspected she might've collapsed from exhaustion long ago.

"Earlier you called me a bandit. I think you misunderstand. I'm no thief. I'm just passing through." The wheels in her head began to turn. A surge of hope grasped her and she couldn't help but run with it. "Thank you for the food. I don't have much. Maybe in the morning I could offer you something in return and you could show me out of your land?" She knew there was a great wall to the south west that kept her away from the Burhan region. Perhaps she could keep touring west, however and get around it. The Burning Mountains was hostile territory but one she'd happily welcome in exchange for lingering in the cave with a madman whose enchantment with her appearance kept his sadism at bay. "I'm Alexa." She switched her axe to her left hand and gradually extended her right opened palm toward him for a friendly shake.

[Krome] Something Haunts These Woods

She repeated the word that he had just spoken as if he said something that was even remotely confusing. The small confrontation they had earlier somehow led to them engaged in a conversation that was incredibly one-sided. The first word that he could honestly say that she spoke clearly; despite the fact that she raised her voice with him a moment ago which made him tempted to slit her throat. Just who in the world did she think she had spoken to, and She obviously did not know that he would not hesitate to kill her if she so much as made a single mistake. The moment he told her to get her belongings and bring them inside she acted hesitant. The Barbarian Woman obviously kept her guard up, and kept her weapon in hand nearly at all times. What She had obviously not been aware of was the fact that he had taken her into the heart of his Territory. She was so deep in the Forest that in every direction several miles of dangerous land lied between her and the nearest civilized Roads.

What sort of fool did she take him for; a Bandit would say anything to get themselves out of her current situation. She was confined to a cave alongside two bloodthirsty murderers who wanted an excuse to kill her and devour her. Of course she would lie right through her teeth given the opportunity; no one in the right mind traveled that close to his territory and certainly no “Passerby”. She could ask nearly any bandit that roamed the land if they would dare cross the area she was in; they would tell her only if she no longer had the will to live. Too many Barbarians thought that they would be given safe passage in areas that they did not belong in.

She asked a question about Ao, and that intrigued him; the fact that she was curious to learn about the origin of such a fierce creature made him respect her more. Although the truth was that Ao was simply found along the caravan of a group of Bandits he had slain. If she paid closer attention; or ever lit flame in his cave she would notice several Skulls, and pieces of cloth not to mention several other belongings that were obviously not his and were from a barbarian world. Large chunks of broken wood, and shattered bones combined with both Animal and Human Skeletal remains littered the cave. However, thanks to the lack of light in the vicinity she would not have time to question what he truly enjoyed.

“Ao... Find on bandits.. They Steal from Woman. Me Slay them.. Find Ao in Thing like yours With.. Wheels” Sky Spoke ever so slowly word by word in order to attempt proper communication with her. He continued to hack away at the wolf until he finally managed to split open its thick hide with the rock, and he gripped both sides of the flesh with all of his strength to pull the meat apart from the hide. The Savage peeled the Hide firstly away from the Cranial structure of the animal, and Ao took part in the project of preparing the food.

He dug his lengthy nails into the rib-cage of the beast, and assisted in tearing the remainder of the hide from the body. Blood poured from the body toward the lowest corner of the cave; it was obviously an uneven surface and the cave went far deeper than where they were. Sky took the hide, and tossed it aside for later use while Ao worked to tear away chunks of meat. The sweet scent of blood filled the air, and Ao had finally managed to tear off a limb. The right arm went completely missing, and he handed it to Sky as it still dripped aqua de vitae. The Savage did not hesitate to sink his teeth into the Animals raw flesh, and violently lash his head around as he chewed away.

His attention was directed away from the food for a moment, and he realized that his guest had not eaten. “Ao.” He spoke to the Mandrill clearly, and scratched his neck in Alexas direction.

“Eat.. Al..ex...a.” He spoke to her slowly, and Ao handed her the other arm while he took part in eating the raw rib-cage of the Animal.
