Short Description An oddly vibrant flower with hallucinogenic properties and a devious pollen.
Found Night blooms can grow anywhere, but they require a large amount of shade. More often than not they boom in warmer, darker places. Because of this they seem to be dark in color. They've yet to be found outside of Scalvoris but Night blooms can be gardened (Competent Level), though it is recommended that you keep them away from places where people could potentially activate them.
Toxicity/Hazard While not inherently dangerous, Night Blooms produce a potent hallucinogenic pollen that dries the mouth. Only worrisome/deadly if untreated.
Appearance A bright purple bloom, the Night blooms seem to sparkle in the light- or reflect it. The blooms sprout in blue, turn purple and finally indigo at maturity. They grow to be roughly the size of an adult male human hand, and are known for being odorless unless triggered. While they only bloom at night as the name suggests, their pollen can be released and harvested regardless.
Properties Odorless unless triggered, these vibrant flowers smell sweetly earthy and can reflect light. The petals and stems can be used as hallucinogens- the pollen has absorbent properties that can be dangerous if not tended to.
Rarity Unusual
How To Use Petals can be grounded to powder/dust and added to food or drinks. The stem must be carefully boiled until brown, then dried. Afterwards they can safely be ground down as well.
Side Effects Pollen is an absorbent- if left alone for too long it can be fatal.

Using It
-- Competent
-- The flower needs to be dug up at the roots as to not trigger the pollen.
-- The flower, stem and all must be boiled in water for at least 10-15 bits. Once done, shock the whole plant and snap the stem from the bud and roots while submerged.
-- The roots have no special uses so can be thrown away. But once dried the stem and Petals can be ground down to dust/powder.
-- The dust from the petals is less potent and can be added to food and drink to add to a low level hallucinogen that lasts 3-4 breaks depending on consumption.
The dust from thr stem is very potent and most commonly used in drugs. Can last a trial or two depending on consumption.

Danger
-- Low to High
-- Incorrect harvesting could trigger the pollen and potentially the hallucinogen.
Tending It
-- Competent
-- Keep away from sun, keep in well shaded areas. If they start turning white its a sign its wilting or wilted. All properties are lost in this case.
-- Water once per two-four trials depending on how much water is used.
