Nellies

An unassuming building on the dark side of Almund, the damp smell of tobacco and sex gives away its true purpose beneath its homely façade. Nellie's is a large old house in a street which was once quite wealthy but which has fallen into disarray. Through the open doors comes the sound of singing, or an instrument being played. There is a bar which serves two types of drink; wine or whisky. On a good night, there is both red and white wine, but most nights not. Since Zi'da 716, they have also started serving food ~ stew with bread. That is all they have and it is always available. Most agree, it's tasty enough and as for what's in it? It's probably best not to ask.

As a recent underground business, its men and women are not the best money can buy, but to those on a budget it's a fine end to an alcohol-laced night. Troublemakers be warned- the employees of Nellies' aren't afraid to leave a mark on those who are too handsy and, as business gets better, Nellie is always on the look out for a good bouncer - especially after the last "Nellie" was arrested for beating on the girls and the attempted murder of Balthazar Black! However, as is always the way - a new "Madam Nellie" took over.
