Saoire had to admit, Idalos was full of attractive men. She had stopped at the Aranaz family estate to pick up this gift. She was also incredibly alarmed at the amount of illegal operations were going on in Idalos. From drugs to moonshine to exorbitant amounts of sex, everyone seemed to be interested in some form of debauchery or another. This estate had its own secrets it seemed. In a flurry of snow, she had disappeared with the gift.
Saoire came up behind Linika in an abrupt fashion, almost attempting to scare her. Maybe it was an accident, maybe it was on purpose. With a tinkling giggle, Saoire placed a hand on one hip and popped out the other. “You need to lighten up Naer. I bring to you liquid courage and joy in a fancy bottle.”
She held out the ornate bottle. It contained 16 ounces of a deep amber liquid. The label on the bottle was emblazoned with the Aranaz family emblem, hinting at who might have given her the gift. If opened, Linika would catch the strong sent of harsh alcohol followed by a hint of apple and pear. It was probably enough to make her face wrinkle or cough in response. It was enough to deviate her eyes. When she looked back up for Saoire, she would only find a few flakes of snow and swirling mist carried off in the wind.
