The recent gift she picked up from someone she had not expected to commit a random act of kindness. It appeared that even the shady citizens of Idalos had kindness deep within their hearts. Not matter what propelled him to give this gift, it was clearly thought out and well crafted. Who knows, maybe one day it would be used against him. Saoire frowned at the thought. Could a gift really be turned on the gifter? She supposed it was possible.

Their barracks were fairly empty except for another well built, extremely handsome gentleman. Saoire was going to have many stories to tell Jesine when she got back about all the beautiful mortal men. This one was a long-haired, blond Lotharro. He must have had an award winning body, which meant some lucky lady to go with it. Saoire cleared her throat to draw his attention.

“You must be Kylar. A skyrider, hmmm?” Saoire dropped her eyes to the set of wings on his shirt. “This gift will come in handy then. A dagger, masterly worked and honed with a sharp edge. May it strike true in your time of need.”

She handed him a cloth wrapped package. As he unwrapped it, he would find a beautifully crafted blade with a holt decorated in various gemstones. Although the blade’s craftsmanship was worth gawking at, the sparkly jewels were probably attention getting as well. Enough for her to slip past him. When he went to look for her over his shoulder, only a few flakes of snow would fall where she had once passed him, a hint of linger spice and juniper wafting past his face.

I'm bad, and that's good. I will never be good, and that's not bad. There's no one I'd rather be then me.
