86th Zi'da, 716
Novitiate Zvezdana,
I hope that this note finds you well. I regret the nature of our last meeting and feel that there were issues on both sides which were made worse by the surprise and unexpected nature of seeing each other. On reflection, I recognise that my words to you were tactless and for that I apologise. I do not, can not and will not deny my feelings, but nor would I expect you to and so I am writing to you for two reasons.
First, I can only assume that it is not your wish for it to be common knowledge that you are here. I assure you that I will not be the cause for it to be discovered. Second, I wished to send you this gift, for your baby, in the hope that it brings you and your child pleasure and comfort.
Wishing you all good health,
Faith
Included in with the letter is a baby layette, including 3 x crocheted jackets, 3 x hats, 3 x pairs of mitts and 3 x pairs of boots in white with edgings in either yellow, green or deep purple. There is also a blanket which is knitted in white with small designs in each colour so that it will go with each outfit.
