Quick Question re: possible Tribes (Human)

Hello~

Very very new here and I am trying to create a character to play. I have a concept that I've played in another game that I like and I'd like to bring over, but I'm having some issues with converting her backstory. Originally, Asedai was from a male-dominated tribe where the women were little more than breeding stock, with one man designated as the person who had won the right through trial by combat to mate and create off-spring for the tribe. (Seekers of the Sun, for anyone familiar with FFXIV lore.) It's a key part of her backstory, because she ends up rebelling and there's some violence and stuff that happens that I'll probably write a flashback post to. I did poke around the page where it describes different places in the world, and I see a few potential places she could originally be from, but none that are really close.

I was just hoping that someone might have a suggestion or two. If not, that's totally okay and I can just change some things to make her fit better. Okay. So yes, thank you for taking a look! (And sorry if this is posted wrong or in the wrong spot or whatever. X.x)

If all you are talking about is a hypothetical tribe, for back story purposes, I can easily envision some nomadic tribe in the Hotlands. Given the slave trade between Nashaki and Athart, as well as the existence of the Slavers Corridor, it's no great stretch of the imagination to imagine a tribe with such a culture.

If you were thinking of proposing a write-up for this tribe, to make it a permanent feature of the Hotlands, that will need to be okayed ahead of time.

Hm, if it's permissible to have a hypothetical tribe like that just for backstory purposes (who have actually all died out anyway), instead of it being an actual permanent feature, that would be perfect!

That should not be a problem. Especially if they are all gone...lol
It's far more of a problem if you are trying to integrate this tribe into existing lore.

But in either event, we will get a final, definitive understanding when you write-out your Character Sheet (CS) history and submit it for grading. But looking briefly at what you already have for your personality, I can only think there will be a problem if you are planning to have some Immortal, or other major lore feature, be the cause of the tribe's destruction.

Even that could possibly turn out to be okay, but would definitely attract and require mod attention.
