Other Information: Sal's mother, an Aukari, was a former slave of the Naerikk, captured by one of the sailors on the Red Dawn, who later married the woman, a woman who bore three sons for him, Sal, Ray, and Fin, all of which still man the Red Dawn, and work as doctors for the Beineborn people. Sal, being the oldest of the three took over as Captain when his father passed away, and sailed his mother home, the woman preferring to live out the rest of her days on land. Sal as a reputation as being a very kind man despite his appearance, and will often take care of those who are too sick or weak to care for themselves.
