Tinkering with a Building?

Unlike other meetings involving the shrine she had had this one wasn’t taking place at the physical location. Genna really didn’t care to travel to a construction site in the middle of winter and freeze especially since no one would be there and there wouldn’t be any warmth. So instead she had arranged for it to be at her home in Rharne. A place where she could have a fire going and warm drinks to offer.

Impressed by Winston’s development of the holo communicators she had hopped that he would be able to help her with a this personal project. So she has asked if he would be kind enough to come an visit with her about some ideas. She moved around the library making sure things were ready. There was a formal room for meeting guests. It was nice enough, there was actually even a room for the family together, but over the arcs the library had become the families room. There was a fireplace at one end of the room with some couches to allow several people to sit and enjoy it. The other end of the room had originally only had Genna’s desk, but since then a table with comfortable chairs had been added where the family gathered for activities and to just chat. A smaller desk had been brought in for Lilabell to use. Her father and Pablo though just used either her desk or the table as they needed.

Currently Genna had the plans for shrines on the table, at the other end of the table were various snacks on the other end of the table, with a steaming tea pot, and decanter of wine, not sure what Winston would prefer to drink. She looked around the room glancing the bookshelves that lined all of the walls except the on with the fireplace, and in the places where it was broken up to allow for window and doors. Overall the shelves were neatly organized but the shelf where Lilabell and her books were a mess. Genna contemplated address the problem but decided not to as she was currently sitting at her desk working on a piece of art.

Her father had been banished from his spot on the table at was at Genna’s desk tinkering with a gold chain that belonged to Lilabell but had broken. Genna looked at the picture and for a brief moment wished she could see her mother and sister sitting in the room as well. Pablo was also missing but his duties as a Knight did occur at different hours.

Once she heard the door she would leave the room. Her yellow dress swishing around her bare feet. Her hair had a braid on either side of her head that allowed her to then pull them back to make one braid that cascaded down her back hair. Once she opened the door she would say “welcome”

Tinkering with a Building?

Reporting for duty!
Buildings were not Winston's speciality, it had to be said. Interesting and whimsical inventions however, very much was and so when he was initially invited to offer some design ideas for a shrine he was quite honored but on the brink of saying no before it became apparent that all he was wanted for was fun crazies. When this came to light he was really honoured and totally invested in the idea and had spent quite a bit of time brushing up on his construction skills and plans.

Having spent the trials leading up to the meeting at Genna's own house (to which he traveled at this very moment) working on new designs and ideas, he had a whole host of scrolls and books on the topic. With formule, magic circles and blueprints scribbled out in ways that perhaps only he understood, he wrapped on the door.

"Me envy yuh warm feet buddy..." He said to his traveling companion,
Chest
, who stood on the cold ground, oblivious to the temperature.

Moments later, the door opened and he was met with warm air and a warmer welcome. "Winstaaan Milla repartin' far duty! Et's gud tuh see yuh!" He said with a chipper if a little frosted fluffy smile as he entered, if invited.

Chest, would plod along beside its master, carrying his every last belonging and home.

"Wat a lovely 'ome yuh 'ave 'ere. Me 'ope yuh don't mind dat me brought a littal gift?" He handed her a small parcel, which if she opened, she would find contained a selection of sweats, each one a different colour. "Dem are fruit-drap wid a little added fon." He explained, with an innocent little grin.

If or when she tried them either now or later, the hard-boild sweets would turn her the colour of the sweet itself for a couple of breaks, or until she ate another. They tasted of a fruit to match the colour and were impeccably made.

Taking off his jacket and handing it to Chest, he collected a few scrolls from the almost infinite depths of the luggage and looked at his host eagerly. "Where shall we begin? Me wus tinkin' dat yuh could tell em all about de things yuh gat and what yuh ideas are an me cun den do de same, wid a few tweaks far what yuh like." He suggested as he politely waited to be shown further into her home.

Appearance

When standing at his full height, Winston towers a full 1 foot and one blueberry tall. A fact he will happily demonstrate before flicking said blue orb into the air with his nose and then eating it with a snappy grin.

His eyes are dark and sharp, ringed by dark brown fur upon the bright white fur that sets off across the rest of his face.

Equipement

Winston usually carries the following on his person:
  • Cassion's Locket hangs snugly around his neck.
  • Winston's Fairy Bell hangs from his tool-belt attached to his hip. It's 'ringer' is often bound by a small piece of cloth to prevent it giving away his position while in the wilderness.
