47th of Zi'Da 722/Haven
Unfortunately, for Woe's sons, he'd come on his own. It wasn't for any sense of malice or punishment that he left them out of his travels, but he'd been visiting the Baroness earlier in the season, and wanted to avoid their doing anything to upset her, as her emotional state was often a worry for him. Not that she was fragile, but Woe did worry.
But now, he was on his way onwards to the North, to Haven, to meet Elisabeth Black and discuss their mutual tasks given by the Immortals. Of course, Woe had mixed experiences with Elisabeth a troubled history to say the least. But though they'd had their issues in the past, Woe wanted to try and get past those, and hopefully build a cooperative situation between Haven and Egilrun, if only for the sake of greater cooperation across the Island nation.
He arrived at the place she had mentioned she enjoyed. He was on the back of Soz, and wearing a coat of heavy leather over his surcoat tunic and trousers and boots. His hands were covered in warm gloves, and his eyes protected by goggles, as flying often caused wind chill to limit visibility. Plus it was just good sense to protect the eyes.
He landed on the beach, its warmth radiating even to where he sat astride his dragonling. There, he looked around for Elisabeth, and failing that would address any villagers that dared approach his dragonling.
