Description: When someone is facing a major decision in their life, or a life impacting choice or event, their friends/family/loved ones may go out and find a Guardian flower to give them as a gift. It is believed that the flower will watch over them as they face that challenge and the pleasant scent will guide them through the challenge while warding away bad luck. People looking for a guardian flower to give someone can buy one if they find one for sale, but it is believed that the effects of the guardian flower will be weakened if they do not find one in the wild.
It is also believed that a guardian flower can guard over people as they sleep and that their cent will prevent bad dreams. For this reason, people will often try to get one for a friend or loved one who is suffering from nightmares or night terrors - especially if that person i a child. There is no proof that a guardian flower can do what it is thought to be able to do.
