Having been given leave to assume a form more... familiar, Apples shifted from a small plushie spider, to the form he'd been locked into in dreams for near a season. He'd been a child in his dreams since Vhalar, though he couldn't identify exactly why beyond his current struggle against Sintra and her games.

Having turned into the child in rags, nearby a Crow descended, perched, and watched the five assembled.

Steven looked at Faith, "
A ship's biscuit with chowder perhaps.
Chowder to keep you warm and full for days...."

Steven, although he assumed the role of mentor with Seira, stood aside as Faith went about informing the girl more about Emea and the way it worked. She'd probably been dreamwalking longer than he had, afterall, although he was certainly no slouch in that regard He listened, and learned along with Seira as Faith explained its intricacies.

It was always interesting hearing about the ways of Emea from another perspective. Of course, magpie might've had other ideas, just as Woe himself had them. Emea was a chaotic realm, and there was literally no end to discovering its secrets. He could imagine how someone like Magpie, who had reached such a great understanding of Emea, only to find himself lost forever in it.

"Well, I think, regardless of anyone's intent, it's good to be honest and forthright. Most of all when we're surrounded by chaos, no?" Woe responded to the general conssensus that they should be more open.

"There are many powers that may work in dreams, and in Emea, Doctor Bubbles. I wouldn't recommend Domain Magic, but anything else that doesn't use the uncontrolled flow of ether? Probably safe." Woe assured her.

Woe was also curious, particularly about Kielik, "What were Jesine and Kielik like? Did you know them? How about Labrae? She was friends with Kielik wasn't she?"

Faith gave them a brief lesson about dreamwalking, something which Seira was very grateful for. She felt as though she was floundering around with little idea of what she was doing. And while she very much wanted to help Batly heal the dreamers in the gestalt dreams, she was worried about accidentally making things worse instead out of sheer lack of knowledge. So she paid close attention to the lesson, and thanked Faith sincerely when it was over.

Seira learned three things during the lesson; firstly she learned what a dreamscape was. She also learned how to become lucid in a dream Faith used an example of something that worked for her; thinking that she was awake every time she did something that she did a lot when she was awake. Then when she did the same thing while she was dreaming, it would trigger that memory and she would become lucid. Seira was certain that she could think of something she did all the time that she could use as a trigger to become lucid in a dream if she put her mind to it. Finally, Faith answered her earlier question about how to move about in the formless space that existed between dreamscapes. She explained that it was a matter of will and imagination; essentially willing yourself to do it the way you would will yourself to pick up a glass. She further went to add that once the decision to move was made, it happened automatically and you didn't have to think about it after that. Faith also mentioned that you had to believe it would happen.

Batly's explanation about creating pathways through Emea by knowing both her starting point and her destination and it being different for everyone who tries to travel through the space between dreamscapes was a lot less clear than Faith's explanation had been. Seira made a mental note of it all the same. She also made a mental note that such travel could be dangerous, and that most people chose not to do it.

After answering her question, Batly told them that her real name was Sanja, and that she was from Augiery. More than that, she was the Vice of Health and Wellness, a part of Augiery's ruling body. All of this before the death of Audrae, and the fall of Augiery. Seira wasn't really sure what to think about that. She remembered learning about Augiery at school, but she didn't know any more about the city than a student growing up in Rharne would. And since she did not have any personal experience with the Naerikk, she wasn't prepared to make a judgement on Sanja based off of that. The rest of what Sanja told them seemed to imply that she was a good person. She had used her position to try and help her people as best she could, and she had tried to help the slaves of the Naerikk; both of which were very good things in Seira's mind. So when Sanja asked them if they still trusted her, there was really only one response.

"I trust you, Sanja." Seira said quietly.

"And I will be happy to do what I can to help you heal the dreamers in the remaining gestalt dreams."

When Apples turned into her dreamwalking teacher, Steven, Seira was happy to see him. As she listened to him speak, he said that using magic in Emea wasn't a good idea, but that there were other powers that could be used safely. Seira made a note of that, but since she didn't have any magic, it was more of an interesting fact than something that seemed vitally important to know. She was more interested in the fact that she would probably be able to use the abilities that Daia had given her. It hadn't occurred to her that it might not be safe to use them, or that they might not work in Emea, but she was glad that they could be. She was reminded once more of how little she understood about dreamwalking, and she hoped that she would, in fact be of use to the others rather than a hindrance.

Seira hadn't practiced changing her own form in a dreamscape, so she made no attempt to turn herself back into her true form. Instead, she listened curiously to see how Sanja would answer Steven's questions.

Dreams of War and Fury
90th of Zi'da

Genna sat in her stuff form watching and listening to those around him. Apple seemed to be familiar with dreaming and aware of many facts of the method. She could see that her friend, Faith was annoyed by being yanked around, which Genna also found annoyed, but she took a different approach. The young healer listened closely as they explained about the nature of dreamwalking. She paid close attention as it was how to become awaken in ones dreams. Genna wasn’t sure how much she would actually use that knowledge but it was good to be aware of such knowledge.

Her tails twitched slightly as she listened. The sudden information about dreamwalking wasn’t the only surge of information that she got. Batly turned out to something unexpected. Genna wasn’t surprised that the bat creature had more to her back ground then she had shared. Genna’s experience was that people who did things like this hand layers and layers of background. What did surprise her though was that actual background. The fox watched the bat/woman with an intense gaze taking every word into account.

The woman was very brave if what she said was true, and Genna intently studied the woman as she spoke and told her story. Being in the dream world certainly presented some problems in determining the truthfulness of the woman. Based on what Genna had seen she felt that woman was certainly steeped in distrust, but it would make sense if her story was true, but would also make senses if she was lying. Genna ultimately decided to trust the woman who claimed to have fought in the darkest pit of this world to save those who were helpless.

Genna slowly blinked and then said. “Sanja thank you for sharing. I am willing to help as I can, though I am not as trained as others.” She figured the best thing was to either help fight this darkness or to learn more about this woman. "How else can we help?"
