Hey there everyone!
First off, it's been a rocky road to get here! My name's Scott, found you guys through the Standing Trials twitter (Hey there, whoever is running that thing) and boy oh boy has it been an exciting past few days reading through everything!
I was a bit overwhelmed at first. You guys have built up a super rich world that's so great, so deep, and so so so exciting to look into and experience. I haven't even completely signed up and I'm already super excited to get going and find out what might happen. There's a lot to take in, but so as long as us (as new guys!) take it a little piece at a time and have about a billion windows open (kyuck, kyuck, kyuck), it's manageable!
I've been having a really amazing time learning the different intricacies, races, and how everything interacts with each other. I hope I can give everyone the fun experiences you seem to already be creating before my arrival.
A little about me! I'm 28 (birthday was just on the 31st ^^), been gaming since I was young, and love the play by post format. My parents introduced me to D&D when I was about 6 or 7, coming home and telling me about their campaign stories, and eventually when I was old enough, let me play along with them and their group, years later. I've run several play by post games in the past, from D&D play by posts, to Nobilis forums, to Anima skype games and World of Darkness LARPS. There's even a point in time where I was super heavily involved in this massive World of Darkness Second Life parcel, but I don't even remember how long ago that was now.
If I had to name a couple favorite systems, I'd have to lean pretty heavily on D&D 4th Edition, Mouseguard, Legend of the Five Rings and Changeling: the Dreaming.
I work in IT here in Massachusetts, love tabletop gaming, magic the gathering, painting miniatures and wasting time with whatever seems to come my way hobby wise. Lately it seems like it's really intense board gaming. I've been writing for a long time, and like to think that I've kind of fostered some kind of unique style, but it's been a while since I've done any kind of long form exposition as a player, and really can't wait to get in and really become who I am here!
So yeah, that's me! I can't wait to meet everyone, get my character sheet wrapped up, and make some new friends here.
Heya! Hail! Haioooo!

Heya! Hail! Haioooo!
Hey, friend! Really liked your character concept so far from what I read! Am heavily excited to see your posts!
I'm actually very possibly moving to Easthampton, Mass, within a year or so from now. So, good to meet you, future neighbor!
If you need any help/have any questions, don't be afraid to ask! I personally don't bite, and I promise the other ones only bite very lightly. Good to have you here.

Hey Alistair! Have a from-the-future Welcome to Massachusetts! Easthampton is an amazing place. I've been over there a couple times and know you'll love it. The community that way is so, so inviting, and there are just a ton of great hidden gems to dig into.
Thanks, Kingdom! I shot them a message of thanks over that way, but much appreciated. Finally wrapped up work on my sheet save for a question I posted over on the Q&A boards, so I can't wait to really dig in to what's going on here.

Heya! Hail! Haioooo!
Hi Scott! I'm so pleased you decided to join Standing Trials. Welcome, welcome!
Seeing as Kingdom has outed me as the woman who runs our Twitter ( ), I wanted to pop by and make sure I introduced myself! I support her & Griffin in Rynmere, so hopefully we can tempt you into visiting the dark side at some point in the future.
Looks like you've been working hard on your CS. Very cool to see that you've decided to create an Ithecal in Ivorian! Ivorian isn't super populated with PCs at the moment, so if you ever find yourself stuck for RP partners then you may want to consider writing in Emea as well.
As Alistair mentioned, please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions (either via the Q&A forum, PM, or chat)!
