1st: The weather begins too warm up causing water to thaw
14th – 30th: A cold snap hits during the night causing the puddles of water to refreeze during the day however the suns shine bright causing the ice to melt before it freezes again at night.
50th: The sky is perfectly clear all day and into the night giving a beautiful view of the moons
Events:
1st: The Hot Cycle has begun with a bang! The weather is starting to warm enough that the frozen waters are thawing. The extra water causes the levels to rise. Low lying areas with rivers or streams find excess water pooling on top of the snow.
5th: Yvithia has sent word that in four trials time there will be a grand feast to celebrate the transfer of power at the academy. She wanted to make sure that everyone knew of what a grand thing had happened.
9th: As night falls the city is in a buzz as people prepare and head for the feast being hosted by Yvithia herself. There are rumors of something more than just the celebration for new Dean Thetys. Rumors float around about him being approached by the heads of the houses. (modded)
12th: The standing water is bringing wildlife out of the denser woods around the outside of Viden. The academy encourages everyone to go out and explore with the rangers to learn more about the animals.
17th: The cold is still over the city, though it is not cold enough to fully freeze water ways. Anyone trying to walk on the ice could end up breaking through and getting soaked.
23rd: As the weather continues to go back and forth from cold to hot, the waters are constantly thawing and refreezing. Due to this even the city is experiencing puddles that are freezing back to ice making travel hazardous.
30th: The heat of the cycle has become more steady prompting the citizens of the city to start getting out again and cleaning the streets and roofs.
35th: A new festival has been announced for the 50th of Ymiden
50th: Sahe’a: A new festival created to celebrate those that have found their spouses. It is also a time for those looking for lovers to share something special with them under the full moon that shines in the sky above Viden (mod start)
83rd: Ymiden has officially come to its end and Saun will soon begin.
