[OPEN] Shore Leave

Or, a chance for some pc interaction?

Almund is a thriving township with a dark side. With houses made from the wooden bodies of decommissioned ships, there are many opportunities here, coupled with many dangers.

Renown: 10 - Liathen IS a Pirate Lord, after all! Plus, being out and about, meeting some main players and the like. Getting her name known!

Skill Review: Appropriate to level.

Notes:

Well, well! This review made me research 'me Pirate Lords a bit! Oddly enough, this particular Pirate Lord (Liathen) was the subject of a legend I dev'd. I've always been interested in her and here comes along a thread with her in it! My lucky day!

This was a much more in-depth look at Catalina than the first thread I reviewed, and I found her thoughts and manner which she considered everything delightful. There's a lot going on under the surface, and the way you switched up hinting at things sometimes, and then fully explaining other thoughts was clever. It actively engages the reader, and I enjoy when a writer can grab my attention that way.

Catalina is ambitious and makes no apologies for that. She owns the space she's in, even when conversing with Liathen. There were a lot of dynamics present here with npcs floating in and out, and Catalina had a unique reaction to each. I love when pcs acknowledge and treat npcs just like other pcs because its often tempting to pay less attention to them, and you were exceptional in that regard.

I enjoyed reading this piece very much. There's a lot of information on the Pirate Lords and the relationships between them, and it's brought to life here. I've read a lot about the Pirate Lords but a thread like this adds so much to it, putting color in the lore, so to speak.

Great job! Thanks for the awesome read! :D
