Once (and mostly still) a dilapidated storeroom, now repurposed for the newly-crowned Councillor, the Office of Natural Affairs is a crowded place with peeling wallpaper and an overabundance of clutter. A cumbersome antique wooden desk sits directly before the door, its edges scuffed and surface scarred, flanked on either side by huge dusty pillows that often serve as beds for a pair of overly-huge wolves, when the Councillor is in. Mismatched seats have been pushed against the walls to give space for prospective visitors to sit, the shelves above filled with ancient and ruined books that make for poor reading material. Dusty knick-knacks and useless items left behind by other offices have been thrown haphazardly around the office and with nowhere else to put them yet, they've been pushed aside just enough to make narrow paths to one of three further rooms, belonging to the Councillor himself, his staff, or his current "projects".

The one thing that sets out the Office of Natural Affairs from any other is the abundance of animals and plants littering the floors, walls, and even the ceilings. Broken and forgotten chairs and sofas now act as makeshift beds for wolves, dogs, cats and any other stray creatures in need of feeding; every available surface has a plant pot or three sitting on it with brightly-coloured plants filling them, ranging from small flowers to sapling trees. Even with the windows open, the pungent smell of animal waste mixes with the sweet fragrance of blossoming flowers on a near-constant basis. It's a miracle the paperwork isn't smudged by animal droppings. The Councillor is known to sleep in his own office frequently, though none but his staff know that he often takes a wolf form to do so.

Other Information: Distant and aloof, Tao makes for a perfect assistant as he hardly draws any attention to himself at the best of times, however his arcs of standing around in important conversations have granted him a knack for picking out important snippets of information and storing them away for later reporting; making Tao not just an excellent personal assistant to the Councillor of Natural Affairs, but a passable informant.

Other Information: Unlike the Councillor himself, Tylar is very loud and open with the other members of staff, making noticeable efforts to make himself approachable in times of crisis or doubt. As befits a second, Tylar is also the most well-informed on the plans of the Councillor, and as such is more often accompanied by the Councillor's bodyguard than the Councillor himself. The only meaningful difference between them is Tylar's utterly unwavering loyalty to Scalvoris and its people.

Other Information: A woman of little words and many numbers, Gwyn manages the technical aspects of the Office of Natural Affairs with a meticulous sterility - which frequently comes at odds with the Councillor's frivolous use of assets for acquisition purposes. Due to her nocturnal hours, she comes across as assuming, pale and thin; however, make no mistake whom is truly in charge of the Offices, as Gwyn has a tendency to talk - and indeed walk - straight over anyone that tries to argue with her. Often when she makes suggestions, the provisions have already been bought and signed in triplicate, and her polite requests are as solid as marching orders.

Other Information: Silk began as a slave, prized for her exotic appearance and talents, but soon ended as a pit-fighter slave, riddling her body with scars to mark her victories. She was eventually freed during a raid on a slave transport ship, and she landed in Scalvoris, looking to put her talents to more noble goals. Her manners are impeccable, but she has a talent for feeling the tension of a room; the kind that only comes from a lifetime of waiting for the next beating. Unfortunately, this also means that she lacks a 'flight' instinct.

Other Information: Marcus is a bit of an unusual receptionist, but given the unusual environment, it's little surprise that he's learned to adapt. Instead of futilely trying to control and organise the utter chaos that often is the Office of Natural Affairs, Marcus has learned to embrace and simply operate within it, alternating his time between regular duties and seeing to the various needs of exotic beasts and plants that fill the room. He is often so engrossed with his various other duties that he seems to barely have time to chat with visitors, but he always seems to find a spare minute to fill them in.

Other Information: A world-wise Sev'ryn that flew Desnind at his first chance, Tel'wehn is a Ne'haer migrant that spent much of her life debating and politicking for the good of the common people. Emerging onto the scene in Scalvoris after promises of founding a new democratic landscape, she's quickly settled into the role of adviser and consultant to the first promising Councillor he set his eyes on - only to find that she may have bitten off more than she can chew in the Councillor himself, who seems to have very little, if no regard at all for the proper ways of political negotiations.
