Ashan 5, Arc 720
“Oh, Delroth!“ Devin moaned, reached for the man that was lying next to him and met his gaze for a moment before he abruptly wrapped his arms around him, pulled him close and kissed him deeply and passionately. He had fallen in love with the Immortal the moment that he had first seen him, almost two arcs prior. He had worked diligently since then, building his shrine, filling it with treasure and learning magic so that he could have wings, just like a bird. He wanted to let Delroth know that he was his most dedicated follower, and now Delroth was finally here, and everything was absolutely perfect!
He was just about to remove the other man’s shirt because it was starting to get in the way a bit when he suddenly heard a slightly amused and undeniably feminine voice. “I hope that there is still room for me, Devin!” He looked up, and his eyes widened. It was Edasha, the other Immortal that he worshipped, and she was gorgeous. In fact, she was even more beautiful than he had imagined. He smiled at her and then he gestured for her to lie down on his other side. He couldn’t believe his luck! His two favourite Immortals wanted to share his bed!
A few moments later, when the clothes were finally starting to come off, he heard yet another person’s voice. He turned his head, wondering if maybe Zanik had decided to join the three of them. Being a bard, he was rather fond of the Immortal of Music as well. Whoever the man that stood there, a thoroughly amused look on his face, was, he definitely wasn’t Zanik though!
He knew what Zanik looked like. He had already seen enough pictures and statues of him!
The stranger was in his early twenties, slender and pale, with freckles, a mop of unruly light brown hair, dark eyes and dressed in dark grey, and he met the Mortalborn’s gaze for a moment before he asked, “You know that these two aren’t really Delroth and Edasha, do you? Most Immortals wouldn’t join a mortal like you for a threesome, although I have to admit, you do have nice wings!” he said to Devin and pointed at the black, feathered wings that had become a frequent feature of the Mortalborn’s dreams.
“What kind of wings are they? Raven wings or crow wings? And why do you have wings when you obviously don’t have Avriel blood?” he asked. “That’s rather curious!”
